Good morning.

New beginnings of each and every moment,

Of each and every day.

Find a space that is comfortable for you.

Remember that this time is your time.

Finding serenity and stillness.

We can find healing and stillness.

We can find ourselves in stillness.

But we must practice it.

And we must practice often.

It does not happen quickly.

It does take time.

Patience.

It takes work.

It becomes more vital as time goes by.

As life goes by.

How else are we able to understand the complexities of life?

The complexities of others.

The complexities of ourselves.

Be still my friend.

Be still and you will meet serenity.

Be slow to speak.

Slow to anger.

We just need that short gap.

That tiny space of pause.

That space of stillness.

Adding time in our day for stillness is necessary for our souls.

Stillness is your friend.

Invite it into your life.

Have a cup of coffee with it.

You can heal in stillness.

You can mend all the tattered pieces of you that have been ripped away.

You can be sown again in stillness.

Be still my friend.

Be still and you will meet serenity.

Ecclesiastics 3 Chapter 7 verse 7.

A time to take down and a time to mend.

A time to be silent.

And a time to speak.

Take three deep breaths.

Inhale deeply.

Exhale through your mouth.

Take another.

Inhale deeply.

Exhale through your mouth.

One more.

Inhale deeply.

Exhale with a sigh.

T.

S.

Elliot wrote,

And at the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know that place for the very first time.

Smile at the stillness and you will meet serenity.

Take that time and may it be so.

Amen.
