Welcome to Day 21 of Insight Timer's Intention Setting Challenge.

Setting an intention is making a decision about who you want to be and how you choose to show up.

Over time,

Those choices become change.

Let's begin.

Hey there,

My name is Lisa Kulpa,

And welcome to Insight Timer's Intention Setting Challenge.

Today we are focusing on kindness,

Which may sound simple,

But isn't always easy.

Some days,

The world feels loud or rushed,

People may irritate us,

We get impatient,

And even our own inner voice can be a little sharp.

So if kindness feels harder on some days,

You're not doing anything wrong.

You're human.

Real kindness doesn't keep score.

It's not about being noticed or thanked.

It's those small,

Quiet choices we make,

Often when no one else is watching.

Sometimes kindness is a gentle word,

It's a pause before reacting,

And sometimes it's letting yourself rest,

Breathe,

Or not have all the answers today.

Every time we choose kindness towards others or towards ourselves,

We're keeping care alive in the world.

Even if it feels small,

It matters.

So today,

We're holding this simple intention together.

Today,

I'll do something kind,

With no expectation back.

So with that,

Let us come into our meditation.

Feel free to come to a nice elongated seated position,

Or lie on down,

Or any pose where you feel like you're being kind to yourself in this moment.

I invite you to take a nice,

Big,

Deep inhale into the body,

Breathing on in,

And exhale sighing on out,

Releasing anything that really doesn't serve you in this present moment.

And I invite you to visualize a time when you experienced or witnessed kindness.

Breathing in that energy into yourself and all the parts of you that need it,

And exhaling that energy out into the world.

Breathing that energy into yourself and exhaling out into the world.

And feel free to do this one last time at your own pace,

Breathing in all that warmth and kindness of your vision,

Sighing it out into the world around you,

Closing this meditation with a blessing for yourself and for the world around you.

May you be happy,

Healthy,

And protected.

May you be surrounded by love,

And live with ease,

And forever be guided by your bliss.

As you move into the rest of your day,

Remember to come back to this intention,

Today I'll do something kind with no expectation back.

See if one small act of kindness naturally reveals itself.

It might be something you offer another person,

Or something you quietly give yourself.

And when you are ready to breathe this energy into the day,

You will be prompted on the next few screens to set an intention or a version of this intention that feels true to you.

Let it be your gentle reminder that kindness isn't something to wait and feel.

It's something you can practice.

So with that,

My friends,

I thank you so much for joining me.

And have an amazing rest of your challenge.

Namaste.
