Hello Divine Mama and welcome to this affirmation based guided meditation to help you connect with your baby,
Calm your mind and body and prepare you for birth.
Begin by finding a comfortable position and depending upon what stage of pregnancy you are in,
You might be seated on the ground,
In a chair or even on a pregnancy ball or you might even lie down in a fetal position.
Listen to your body and do what feels best.
It is notable that lying flat on your back or reclining seated positions are not recommended in the third trimester especially.
If it feels good,
Place your hands over your belly and take some deep conscious breaths.
Send the breath as deeply as it will go and imagine the breath reaching your divine child safely in your womb.
While at certain stages of pregnancy the breath might be shortened and feel challenging,
It is still essential to breathe as fully as possible.
So do the best you can and know that it is good enough.
Slow the breath right down and feel it moving gently in and out of your body.
Your body has been through so many magical transformations as it makes space for the creation of this divine child.
Sometimes these transformations can be challenging and uncomfortable but they are incredible nonetheless.
This is why it's so useful to come here to this quiet and to your sacred breath which feeds your baby,
To simply be with yourself and the child that you currently nurture within you.
Take the time to acknowledge all that you have carried and endured and why it is that you do it,
For the miracle of life moving through you.
I want you to know that you are enough,
You have done enough and that you continue to do enough.
It can in moments feel overwhelming to prepare for this arrival while your hormones rage and your physical changes fatigue your body.
Pregnancy is not easy but it is most certainly wonderfully magical.
Take a moment now to acknowledge any of the challenges you have faced up to this point and to just give some appreciation to yourself for moving through them so gracefully.
Maybe in some moments less gracefully and that's okay too.
We will give you a minute to breathe into this.
Now divine mamas with your hands on your bellies we encourage you to speak these affirmations after us.
Your baby loves the sound of your voice.
It is the most soothing thing in the world for them and they will feel the powerful and healing intention behind the words even if they don't understand them.
