Welcome.
For today's meditation,
We will be focusing on the future,
Without any fear involved.
Please find a comfortable position,
And make sure you will not be disturbed by any distractions.
Gently close your eyes,
And tune into your breathing for a few moments.
Did your breath change when you paid attention to it,
Or was it automatic?
Inhale a deep breath now.
Feel through the mouth,
Like you are blowing out of a straw.
Wonderful.
Perhaps during this time in your life,
You have some worries or concerns about the future,
And how you will do it on your own.
You are here today to change that reality,
Knowing that you can rely on yourself,
Giving yourself a new belief that you have the strength to do anything on your own.
While opening your eyes,
Bring your hands to your chest for a few moments,
Placing one hand over the other,
Directly above your heart.
See if you can tune into the feeling of your heartbeat.
Your heart is beating strong and rhythmically.
Let your hands relax back down by your sides.
Now just for a moment,
Open your eyes and look around.
Can you notice anything that is the color green?
Now can you see anything that is the color black?
Now focusing on things that are white in the room around you.
Good.
Close the eyes again,
And remember with your imagination the things that were green.
Now remember the things that were black.
And lastly,
Thinking about those things that were white.
Do you have a good idea of where they are around you?
You have a very strong and powerful imagination.
Now just let your mind wander around for a few moments,
Letting it go from one thing to the next on its own.
Are you thinking about worries or concerns about your relationship coming to an end?
It's okay if you are.
It is what you are experiencing right now.
Maybe you have some worries or concerns about the future.
Thoughts that you cannot do things on your own.
Let these thoughts come.
Know that we can choose our thoughts.
They are allowed to come.
And we have the choice which thoughts we want to ruminate on.
So let's change our future,
Right now,
By imagining the future we want to experience.
Say that everything goes well with your situation,
All things are finalized,
And that you've moved on in a healthy way.
It is now three years in the future,
And you are imagining that all things are well.
Your life has taken new turns for the better.
Go ahead and imagine that your career has taken off.
Think about the new relationships that you will have.
Loving relationships and business relationships.
Go ahead and imagine this perfect future,
Three years out,
As if everything is going exactly how you wish it will.
See how you are having the strength to do anything on your own.
Important decisions are made by you that have great outcomes.
In this vision of the future,
You have taken on your health as a number one priority.
You see that you are fit and active.
You see yourself making healthy choices in what you consume,
Both food and content.
In this vision,
Three years ago was when your relationship ended,
And it seems like another life.
So much has changed for the better.
You are strong and resilient.
You learned much from your past relationship.
It helped you build a better future.
You are now wiser and more on top of things in your life.
Looking back,
The struggle that you went through was all worth it.
Very good.
See this perfect future again,
Five years out.
Imagine your life is even better then.
You have achieved so many goals,
And are setting more.
You are doing so well.
Let's travel back into the present moment,
By beginning to remember those things in the room that are green,
And the things that are black,
And the things that are white.
Opening your eyes and seeing those items around you.
Say out loud the following affirmation with conviction.
I believe in myself to have the strength to do it on my own.
Wonderful.
Notice how you feel from this session.

And go about your day feeling excited for the future.
