Chances are,

If you're joining me right now,

You're having some trouble falling asleep or maybe you woke up in the middle of the night and you're just trying to get back to sleep.

Let me try to help you.

Let's begin.

Settling back into your body,

Just lying back down,

Let the body settle,

Let the eyes close.

Feel your breath.

Notice where you feel your breath,

Your nose,

Your chest,

Your belly,

Let it move naturally.

Bring your attention to the top of your head,

Forehead,

Eyes,

Your jaw,

Your shoulders,

Your arms,

Your chest,

Your tummy,

Let the body be heavy,

Supported.

Notice any sounds,

Sensations,

Thoughts,

Let them arise and pass,

Don't hold.

Everything changes,

Breath changes,

Sensation changes,

Mind changes.

Just observe,

No need to do anything,

Each breath,

Especially the exhale,

Is a release.

If the mind wanders,

Just return gently to your breath,

Rest in the rhythm,

Let it all dissolve,

Just let sleep come naturally,

Enjoy the rest of your sleep.
