Transcript

I am grateful for the innocence that enters the world with the newborn baby.

I am grateful for the lessons of the tiny seed and the caterpillar,

That we always have the opportunity to transform into something greater.

I am grateful for the sun's consistency in always rising,

And for the moon's constant companionship in the dark.

I am grateful for the fragrance of rain in the desert.

I am grateful for the grace of the small hummingbird.

I am grateful for the crisp air of autumn and the bright blossoms of springtime.

I am grateful for the laughter of children and for the wisdom of our elders.

I am grateful for lavender sunsets and dew that covers the morning grass.

I am grateful for the exuberant welcome of a dog's wagging tail.

I am grateful for cloudy days that herald healing rains.

I am grateful for the sweet offerings of the maple tree.

I am grateful for each breath,

For the life-giving inhale and ever-cleansing exhale.
