May you hear the Spirit of the Living God speaking to you now through these words.
Be at peace,
Dear child,
Of the Most High God,
For you are chosen,
Chosen to be a vessel for the light of Christ,
Chosen to be a unique temple of the Holy Spirit.
Rest in this truth.
You have been chosen.
You are embraced.
You are loved and forgiven.
You are not alone,
Not now,
Not ever.
And though the Spirit of the world is loud,
Deceiving and confusing,
Producing chaos,
Insinuating fear and doubt,
Pause.
In the midst of it all,
Pause and seek to hear my voice.
For my voice pierces through to the deepest recesses of your heart and soul.
Turn off the deafening,
Obtrusive noises around you.
Be silent.
Be still.
With the ears of your heart inclined to me,
Listen.
Listen without effort.
And as I speak to you with a voice through the silence that will permeate all the noise.
So I say listen and you will hear.
Knock and the door will be opened.
Seek and the way will be shown to you.
Ask and you will be given.
For as you do all of these things,
Then you will be open to hear my guidance,
Willing to welcome my presence,
Able to find what it is that you truly need and most important.
You will be ready.
Ready to receive my love.
For nothing you do nor have done will take you away from my love.
Even if you choose to be a prodigal and walk far away from me,
I will patiently wait.
I will patiently pursue you all the days of your life.
And I will be there when you are ready to come home.
For there is none like you.
Even if the world ignites a consuming fire amid the circumstances of your life.
Or if by your own willfulness you create your own trouble and see no way out.
Remember,
I am with you.
You may even choose the way of the fire through addictions and clinging to your own stubbornness.
But even so,
Then just turn to me for I will be there with you.
To protect you.
That the fire will not overtake you.
For I am your God.
And you are my child.
My beloved.
And I tell you the truth.
That nothing,
Nothing can separate you from my love.
From my presence.
Not even when you run and hide.
It is my desire that you remember this.
That neither death nor life.
Neither angels nor demons.
Neither past,
Present or future.
Neither any earthly or cosmic powers,
Great or small.
Not height nor depth nor anything else in all of creation will be able to separate you from my love.
From my presence.
From my spirit.
The same love.
The same presence.
The same spirit.
In Christ Jesus.
You try so hard to understand that which is divine mystery.
Be gentle with yourself.
And accept that my thoughts are not your thoughts.
Neither are your ways my ways.
For as high as the heavens are above the earth so are my ways higher than your ways.
And my thoughts are higher than your thoughts.
So do not trouble yourself.
Trying to determine how I am working or moving in your life or in the world.
Do not struggle so hard to understand my mind.
For it is impossible for you to do so.
But know that just as the rain and snow fall from the sky and do not return without watering the earth making it bud and sprout.
Providing seed to sow and food to eat.
Nourishment for your body and soul.
So my word that proceeds from my mouth from my heart will not return to emptiness.
But it will accomplish what I desire.
And it will prosper and give life and breath.
And right now I am speaking my word into your life.
For there is none like you.
There is no other that can bring my light and love into the world as you can.
For my word is a lamp for your journey and a light for your path.
I know you by heart.
I have called you by name.
You are mine.
You are the embodiment of my love.
I will not let you out of my sight.
Though you may choose to run off seeking your own way.
I will not leave you or turn from you.
For I am the one,
The love that created all that is seen and unseen.
And I am the one,
The love that holds you in the palm of my hand.
And I am here now and always will be.
So it is time to surrender and to turn to me.
To open your heart.
To incline your thoughts.
To follow me into your truest life.
And I will give you rest.
And I will give you my peace that is beyond all circumstances and understanding.
And I will give you my mercy and untold grace to guide you home.
For those that have ears let them hear.
Remember who you are.
A child of the living God.
Return to this truth.
The well of living water.
For as often as you drink from it you will be refreshed and renewed.
Receive my love.
Rest in my presence.
Listen for my voice.
And live.
