Snippets of Wisdom,
Number 36,
Seeking Approval and Security.
How secure do you feel?
When do you feel the most insecure?
When do you feel the most secure?
I have always struggled with feeling insecure.
It has always felt like I must rely on others for my security.
I've tended to look for others' support,
Though I know that's not necessary.
It seems to be a deep-seated belief that stems from my childhood.
In my religious upbringing,
I was indoctrinated to believe that as a woman,
I must rely on my father and then my husband to provide for me.
I had to seek their approval to provide for my security.
So my insecurity has been a challenge to release and trust the universe for my security.
I wrote about this when I was reflecting on my feeling of insecurity.
Insecurity is always seeking someone else's approval instead of coming into the vibrational alignment with who you are.
Alignment equals security.
Our inner beings always approve of us,
Cherish us,
And provide for us.
We simply have to align with the knowledge,
The knowing of who we are as pure,
Positive extensions of Source itself.
We are love and joy and peace and calm,
Abundance and prosperity,
Security and well-being.
When we come into this alignment,
We are secure.
My feelings of security increase every time I align with my inner love and joy.
When I become aligned with who I am,
I feel the security emanating from my inner being toward me.
I feel her approval.
So I no longer have to rely on others to offer me their approval.
I have everything I need through alignment.
I am secure.
Do you notice that you don't need to seek the approval of others for your security when you are aligned with your truest inner self?
Focusing on who we are as love and joy embodied allows us to live in freedom.
We no longer need the approval of others.
Alignment feels secure.
Align with your inner being.
Know that approval and security are flowing to you and allow them to flow through you.
Alignment can be enhanced when you have a daily practice of meditation and prayer.
Listening to inspiring talks can even inspire your alignment,
Which results in feeling of approval and security.
Big hugs,
Marianne.
