Snippets of wisdom number 76.
Channel impatience into appreciation.
Are you an impatient or patient person?
If you asked dear ones close to you,
What would they say?
Do you get anxious and want things to move along faster?
I love speed,
Not only while driving,
But I also love my work to move with speed.
I love it when I'm flowing and my work is flying high and fast.
So when things get bogged down and they aren't moving fast enough for me,
I get impatient.
There,
I admit it.
Now what am I going to do about my impatience when it rears its ugly head?
As usual,
I found a quote from Abraham Hicks that gave me a new perspective and I want to share it with you.
If you could channel that impatience into appreciation of the idea so you're satisfied with where you are just a little bit and eager for what's coming next,
That takes the impatience out of it.
And when the impatience is gone,
Then the ideas will begin to flow.
Impatience is resisting where you are.
It's wanting to be somewhere else and noticing you're not there,
So your focus is on the lack or absence of where you want to be.
You want to be somewhere else,
But your resistance is holding you in the same place.
If you can simply appreciate the idea of where you want to be for the time being,
You will receive inspired action steps that will bring over there to over here where you are.
Appreciation for the ideas of where you are going brings the path to you more quickly.
Appreciating the ideas while they are still in the vibrational process of becoming allows you to soothe all the impatience because you know your desire is on the way.
When you feel impatience,
Ask yourself,
How can I appreciate where I am right here looking forward to where I want to be and to be excited about the ideas of my desire?
Our beautiful ideas are in the process of becoming all the time.
When we're out of alignment,
We get impatient.
There is no impatience in the satisfaction of alignment.
Once we make feeling good our priority,
We can relax and we'll find that our appreciation for the idea brings us peaceful satisfaction.
Just the thought of our idea should thrill our socks off.
Our ideas should feel so good as we eagerly wait for what's coming next that we don't even notice any impatience on our part.
We are simply satisfied right here and eager for more of what's coming.
And that includes amazingly inspiring ideas that add to the ones we've already launched into our vortex of creation.
Channel your impatience into appreciation of the idea.
Be satisfied with where you are and eager for what's coming.
Poof!
Impatience be gone.
Now you're open and available for new ideas to flow.
Watch for the magic.
Big hugs,
Mary Ann.
