This visualization meditation works to transform how you perceive feelings that you are holding onto inside of your body.
Recreating how you see that negative emotion,
Releasing it,
Letting it out of your body and back into your body in the form of light will work to heal you.
Lie down for this meditation.
Relax your legs and face your palms upward.
Begin by breathing slowly.
Focus on your breath in and out.
Breathe into your body and locate where you are holding your emotion.
It might be in your stomach,
Your jaw,
Your hips.
As you breathe,
Imagine your emotions taking on a color.
If you are angry,
That might be red.
Anxiety,
Green.
Listen to your body and let that color come to you.
Breathe into that space.
Breathe into that color.
Breathe into that space.
Breathe into that color.
On your next breath,
I want you to breathe that color up to your mouth.
Exhale out of your mouth,
Releasing that color and see it transform outside of your body to a beautiful breath of white light.
Watch that white light fall and re-enter your body into that same agitated space that it left.
And then repeat.
Breathe in and release it.
Breathe in and recycle light.
