The many masks we wear,
Hidden under layers and layers of colorful emotional foundation is your true skin of self.
You are under there somewhere and I hear you screaming to get out.
I see you clawing on the inside not realizing these masks are just a figment of your imagination.
They are an old program.
They are your fears.
False evidence appearing real.
It's okay to take it off,
To show us your raw realness,
To not know,
To be scared,
To make a mistake,
To retreat,
To resist.
It's okay to just be you.
All of you.
Who are you?
Powerful and strong?
Soft and graceful?
Courageous and bold?
You can be whoever you want to be.
Hiding behind fear will only prolong the inevitable.
It gets hot,
Sweaty,
And damn uncomfortable under the masks.
There comes a breaking point where you rip it off and show your face.
So I invite you to peel off the mask holding you back from living your potential as the real authentic you.
To face your fears and see them as your guide showing you where to go next.
An affirmation.
It is safe to be seen.
