Your self-talk matters.
Talk yourself up.
I do this all the time.
People laugh,
But I literally pat myself on the back and say,
Good job,
Lisa.
So that I am the one validating and acknowledging my accomplishments and not waiting for someone else to.
This is so important.
Give yourself the pep talk you wish others would give you.
Tell yourself at least once a day that you are beautiful,
Talented,
Awesome.
Pump your brain with I can,
I will,
And I am.
If you do this for a while,
You will come to believe it.
You will feel the power in the positive.
You will begin to believe in yourself.
You will not need others to say it for you to believe it.
Rather,
You will say it and others will start believing it.
How you treat yourself is training others on how to treat you.
See if you can find the brain reframe next time something goes wrong.
So instead of telling yourself,
I can't do this,
Instead affirm I can handle this or I will be OK.
What you tell yourself,
You will believe.
So be kind.
Choose faith,
Not fear.
There is so much power in positive thinking.
