Time is a cycle,
Time is a circle.
Closure is also the initiation for new beginnings.
It's not just I'm closing this down that's familiar,
It's opening up to new possibilities for the future.
And I looked up in the dictionary closure just to see the different variations of how the dictionary defines it.
It says closure is the act of closing,
The state of being closed,
And the conclusion is the other part.
But this third definition says closure is also a sense of psychological certainty or completeness,
Where I'm done,
I'm ready to move on,
I'm letting go of that relationship or that experience or those repressed emotions that I've been carrying for 20,
30,
40,
50 years.
I'm going to bring closure there,
My anxiety and my depression and my loneliness,
So that I can experience a different reality.
It's a common misunderstanding,
Closure is not just about ending relationships.
When somebody dies and you're in grief,
You have to bring closure to that relationship.
But a deeper definition is closure that I'm going to talk about today is closing old,
Limiting,
Outdated beliefs.
It's about releasing and expressing those repressed emotions.
It's about resolving unfinished communication from previous relationships or experiences.
Closure is resolving the pain of the past,
Your trauma,
And your subconscious constraints that open you up to a new chapter,
A new beginning,
A new relationship,
A new experience in life.
When you can see closure from the full circle of it,
Not just coming to an end.
Closure is an act of closing,
The state of being closed,
Bringing to an end,
Conclusion.
But I like the full circle,
Where it is a certainty and completeness in this stage of your life that then prepares you for the initiation of new beginnings.
It's a full circle.
When you can stretch your idea of closure as not just an ending,
But also the initiation of a clean,
Fresh start,
A new beginning,
It helps you to have a better understanding of its true nature.
