Settle into your most comfortable position.
Make sure you have all the support you need so that you can fully surrender into a state of stillness.
Beginning with your next exhalation,
Slowly breathe out through the mouth as if you are blowing through a long straw.
Breathing in,
Count to five as you inhale and gently retain the breath at the top of the inhalation for three to five counts.
When you're ready,
Exhale again slowly through the mouth,
Lengthening the out breath to eight to ten counts.
Follow this breath pattern two to three more times at your own pace,
Taking your time to really savor every step of the breathing process.
After your next exhalation,
Allow your breath to resume its natural fluid,
Effortless pace.
Invite your belly to soften.
Allow all expression to gently fall away from your face.
Remind yourself that this is a time to rest,
To withdraw your attention from the external world,
From your cares and obligations,
From the roles that you play and the responsibilities that you hold.
This is a time to go inwards,
To integrate,
To relax,
To restore and to heal.
Bring your awareness to the soles of your feet.
As you place your attention here,
Notice them grow warm.
Notice sensation begin to arise as you focus on this part of the body.
As you inhale,
Imagine a stream of healing light entering through the soles of the feet and traveling throughout the body all the way to the top of the head.
As you exhale,
Allow this stream of light to travel down from the top of the head out through the soles of the feet and continue to breathe,
Inhaling,
Allowing this breath to wash through you and exhaling,
Allowing the light to travel down and out.
Slowly and gently scanning your body as you breathe in and out.
Imagine this stream of light that corresponds with the flow of your breath to be a healing,
Radiant,
Pulsing sea of energy,
Harmonizing,
Restoring,
Balancing and healing every cell that it comes in contact with.
Waves of light slowly pulsing through your field,
Bringing vitality and fresh life force energy to all aspects of your being.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Receiving and letting go.
