I want you to think about a sky with me.
A blue sky.
Maybe the brightest,
Bluest sky you've ever seen.
And I want you to think about clouds in the sky.
Maybe your clouds are puffy and soft.
Or maybe they're thin and wispy.
And what else do you see in your sky?
I see birds in mine.
Birds flying high,
Soaring.
I wonder what it would be like to fly like a bird.
How would that feel?
To lift my wings up and then bring them back down again.
And be able to lift myself up into the bright blue sky and soar through those clouds.
Let's do that now.
Let's lift our own wings.
Let's pretend that our arms are wings and that we are birds flying through the sky.
So as you lift your arm,
Breathe in.
And as you bring your arm down,
Breathe out.
Just like a bird would do in the sky.
Lift your arm again with me.
Breathing in and bringing your arms down.
Breathing out.
Do that a few more times with me.
Bringing your arms up and down.
Wow,
That makes me feel really calm inside.
It makes me feel peaceful.
It makes me feel inspired.
Like I want to go paint or color something or make something.
Flying like a bird feels really peaceful.
