Find a comfortable position,
Whether you're sitting or lying down,
And gently close your eyes.
Breathe in and out.
Acceptance is about embracing reality as it is,
Without judgment or resistance.
Let's begin by bringing awareness to our breath.
Imagine yourself lying in an open field,
Watching clouds drift across the sky.
Thoughts and emotions are like these clouds.
Notice them without getting caught up.
Observe any thoughts or feelings that arise within you.
Allow them to pass by,
Like clouds moving across the sky.
Reflect on any areas of life where you've been resisting or struggling.
Can you soften around these areas?
Can you let go of the need for things to be different?
Visualize yourself embracing acceptance.
See yourself letting go of resistance and surrendering to what is.
Acceptance is not approval.
It's acknowledging reality with kindness.
Extend this acceptance towards yourself.
You are human,
Imperfect,
And deserving of compassion.
Now bring your attention back to your breath.
Invite acceptance with each inhale and release resistance with each exhale.
As we conclude,
Carry this sense of acceptance into your day.
Embrace life as it unfolds with both its joys and challenges.
