Transcript

Let's begin with three deep cycles of breath.

In through the nose and back out through the nose.

In and out.

In and out.

In and out.

As your body begins to settle,

You can close your eyes or soften your gaze while you continue to focus your attention on the flow of your breath as it returns to its natural rhythm.

When you have a deep trust that life has your back and you will always have the resources you need to succeed,

You are open to receiving.

We block receiving when we feel scarcity about spending money.

We do things like cling to it or unconsciously overspend.

Like a plug on a wall,

The currency needs both input and output for electricity to flow.

We need both giving and receiving of our energy about money for it to flow without blockages.

It's a current that flows to and from you.

For this meditation,

We'll repeat an affirmation as though it's a mantra.

The idea is to practice focusing your attention on repeating the words.

Your mind will inevitably drift to thoughts or sounds or physical sensations.

When those fluctuations of the mind settle,

It will eventually fixate on the words,

Allowing you to explore what your body is feeling.

As you repeat the affirmation,

Notice where you have a feeling of openness,

Like a weightlessness or a feeling of energy moving.

It could be anywhere in any part of your body,

Big or small.

Notice what it feels like to place your attention on the feeling of openness.

When you notice your thoughts have drifted,

Simply return to the affirmation and when your mind settles again,

Slowly find that feeling of openness.

You'll repeat this process of drifting from the affirmation to thoughts and back to the information as many times as you need.

I'll set a timer for a few minutes and ring a gentle bell when it's up.

Remember there's no wrong way to do this.

The practice is to simply notice when your mind has drifted from the affirmation and drift it back.

The affirmation is,

I am open to receiving.

Say it out loud with me one time,

I am open to receiving.

Now whisper it,

I am open.

Now repeat it silently over and over and when you hear the chime,

Just sit quietly.

I am open to receiving.

Sit quietly and let the stillness and silence of receiving settle into your body.

When you are ready,

You can open your eyes and return to your day.
