This is a simple yet powerful morning practice. It allows the opportunity to reduce morning anxiety, come back into the body and set powerful intentions for the day ahead. When we set intentions for the day from a heart-centered + aligned space, we're honoring all of the magic that this day can bring.

Transcript

As you wake up,

You are given this opportunity to set the tone,

The vibration for your entire day.

Simply by tapping into the energy you carry and shifting into a higher state,

A vibration of peace,

Joy,

And clarity.

As you awaken,

Take in a deep breath,

Inhaling through your nose.

Allow for this prana,

This life force to enter you and hold it for four,

Three,

Two,

One,

And release.

Bask in gratitude for a moment.

Everything that you feel grateful for in this moment,

The soft pillow beneath your head,

The warm sunshine peeking through the windows,

Laughter in the other room,

The smell of coffee brewing,

Or simply the gratitude of this beautiful brand new day.

Bring yourself to a comfortable seated position.

Close your eyes and take a moment to check in with your mind,

Body,

And spirit.

Take notice of any tension or tightness.

Check in with your breath.

Does it feel shallow or does it feel easy with each inhale?

The morning is the perfect time to tap in with yourself physically,

Emotionally,

And spiritually,

Trusting whatever comes up as guidance to assist you in this moment.

With eyes closed,

Take in another deep breath,

And begin to relax your body one area at a time.

Relax your brow,

Relax your jaw and your throat.

Roll your shoulders back,

Open up your heart space,

Relax your arms by your sides,

Your hands and your lap,

Palms facing up.

Relax your belly.

Notice as your belly rises and falls with each breath and give gratitude for this breath,

For this beautiful life force.

Relax your hips,

Your thighs,

Relax your calves,

Your ankles,

All the way down to your toes.

There's nowhere else you need to be right now,

And there's nothing else that requires your attention in this moment.

With this next inhalation,

Imagine a thick,

Strong root at the base of your spine and allow it to extend deep,

Deep down into Mother Earth,

Down into her core.

Ground yourself into the depths of her staying strong,

Staying rooted in your truth and in your essence.

Imagine a luminescent white waterfall of light flowing down from the heavens,

From the ether cascading over your entire body.

It flows down your back,

It flows into the crown of your head,

It flows past your face and your chest.

Allow it to wash over you.

Bask in its beauty.

Savor every last bit of this incredible waterfall of pure light.

This is source energy.

This is pure,

Unconditional love.

This is abundance,

And this is joy.

Nothing external from you at all comes from within.

It is always flowing to you and through you,

And it never stops.

And in each moment,

All you have to do is allow.

Take another deep breath and hold it.

Four,

Three,

Two,

One,

And release.

Begin to open your eyes to the room that surrounds you.

Check back in with your mind,

Body,

And spirit.

Know that you continue to hold this deep rooted connection to Mother Earth and know that this waterfall will continue to flow majestically over you.

And throughout this day,

No matter what happens,

Give yourself grace,

Forgive yourself,

Be patient,

Kind,

And loving to yourself,

And the universe will meet you there.

Breathe light,

Breathe love,

Breathe easy.

Breathe light,
