Please do not listen to this meditation while driving or operating machinery.

This meditation is designed to calm your nervous system and prepare your body and mind for deep,

Restorative sleep.

By listening,

You're allowing your brain to gently downshift,

Helping you ease into the Theta state,

Where real healing happens.

Inner peace is your birthright.

You don't have to earn it,

Just receive it.

So get cozy,

Drop your expectations,

And let go of the day.

Think of my voice as the voice of a dear and trusted friend.

I'm here to remind you of your innate inner power.

You are safe now.

I invite you to set an intention for this meditation.

It can be something simple,

Such as,

I want to rest,

I want to feel calm,

Or I want to feel like myself again.

Now gently close your eyes.

Feel your body being held.

Wherever you're sitting or lying down,

Let it carry your weight.

Let the day fall away.

You don't need to do anything.

You don't need to hold anything.

You don't even need to sleep yet.

Just rest.

Take a deep breath in through your nose,

And let it go like a sigh.

Again in through your nose,

Deep belly breath,

And let it go.

And once more,

Slower now,

In through your nose,

And sigh it out.

Now imagine roots growing from your feet,

Down through the bed,

Through the floor,

Through layers of soil,

Stone,

Water,

Until they find the deep,

Warm belly of the earth.

Let her hold you.

Let her take everything you've been carrying.

Thoughts,

Fears,

To-do lists,

Let it all drop off of you,

Like wax melting down a candle.

You don't have to think about it.

Just let go.

With every breath,

Feel your body soften.

The muscles in your face,

Your jaw,

Your shoulders,

Your belly.

Even your heart.

You're safe.

You're not alone.

And this moment is sacred.

Let the earth keep watch now.

Let your body become heavy,

Your breath slow,

Your mind quiet.

Everything else can wait,

Sink,

Soften.

You've done enough for today.

Let go of everything else.

Let your body remain soft.

Let your breath stay slow.

You are safe to rest.

You are safe to dream.

You are safe to release.

Let yourself drift now,

Into the quiet,

Into the dark,

Into the soft center of your own being.

Nothing more to do,

Just sleep.
