Get yourself really cozy.
Pose just right,
Kits just right.
Cuddle up to your favourite soft toy and close your eyes now.
Your imagination,
Pretend that you're lying on some nice soft grass.
Outside on this beautiful soft green grass.
Nice and warm but not too hot,
Just right.
Hang down on your tummy on this grass and you're doing some drawing in a big book that's in front of you.
Today you're drawing a beautiful mermaid.
What would your mermaid look like?
Take a moment to imagine yourself drawing the most beautiful mermaid on this paper.
Colours,
Will you make the tail?
The tail be one colour,
Will it be many colours?
Will it be rainbow?
Colour it in now just how you want the tail to be.
And what is she wearing on her top half?
Design that now and colour it.
Maybe she's wearing a beautiful necklace made of shells or pearls or jewels.
What necklace would she be wearing?
What is her hair like?
Is it really long?
Is it short?
Does it have plaits in it?
Is it tied up?
Is she wearing a little crown?
Where is her hair?
Design this now just how you want it today.
Now you focus on her face and his beautiful eyes.
What colours?
Colour them in now.
You have a look at this beautiful mermaid that you've drawn.
You've put so much work into that that you're starting to feel a little tired.
Rest your head down onto the book,
Onto the mermaid for a moment.
Just having a little rest,
Feeling a little sleepy as you're lying on this beautiful soft green grass out in the sunshine.
And very soon you realise that your arms and your head are no longer resting on grass and book but there seems to be sand underneath you.
Push yourself,
Beautiful island.
You're sitting on gorgeous golden sand.
And then you look down at your body and notice you have that beautiful mermaid tail that you just drew.
Now you are in it.
Now it is yours.
Notice you're also wearing the top that you designed and the necklace.
Here is just how you drew it in the picture.
You have somehow magically become this beautiful mermaid.
You feel so lucky and amazed.
Look at the water in front of you and you see playing in the water.
There's another mermaid and some dolphins and they're having a great time.
Now the mermaid sees you and waves.
She calls out to you to come and join them,
To come and play.
These things move into the sea under there and you can swim and you can explore this magical underwater garden.
There is beautifully coloured everywhere.
Beautiful shells all over the floor.
Amazing brightly coloured fish swimming around.
Seaweed growing of all different shapes and colours and sizes.
You swim and dance and play with your friend,
The mermaid and the dolphins.
Your mermaid friend tells you her name and says she's been waiting for you to visit.
Something special to show you.
So you follow her and you swim beautiful gardens of coral through amazing forests of seaweed.
And you swim with the fish and the dolphins.
You see beautiful creatures.
Everything seems fun and friendly and happy.
The mermaid friend takes you to this enormous shell.
The shell is as big as you inside the shell.
Inside the shell is an enormous sparkling jewel.
It's the biggest jewel you've ever seen.
What colour is it?
You are so amazed at this jewel.
You just sit and gaze at it.
As you look at its beauty you start to feel really,
Really as though the jewel has some magical energy that it's pouring.
Now this jewel and looking at it,
It feels like the warmest,
Nicest hug that you've ever had from maybe one of your parents or one of your grandparents.
When they hug you and let you know they love you so much and you feel that love and it feels so warm and nice.
That's how this jewel makes you feel.
You sit here and let this jewel fill you up with this feeling of love.
Filling you up,
Filling you up.
You're feeling so much love.
You do a big yawn.
Your mermaid friend notices this.
She comes gently over to you and takes your hand.
She clicks her fingers.
On comes this gorgeous rainbow seahorse.
Just the right size for you to ride on.
You climb on its back,
Onto its neck and your mermaid friend has her own rainbow seahorse.
And off you go,
Whizzing through the sea,
Through this magical underwater garden.
Your mermaid friend is leading you back to the beach and soon you find yourself sitting back on the beach with your mermaid friend,
Sitting on the nice.
And now the sun is going down into the sea in front of you.
Beautiful colors in the sky.
Peachy,
Pinks and oranges.
You look at all the beautiful colors in the sky that the sunset is making.
And as you're watching this beautiful sunset,
Your mermaid friend shows you she's wearing a locket.
She opens up the locket.
Inside is a photo of you.
She tells you that just like you love mermaids,
She loves humans and she would love to feel what it's like to run,
To jump,
Climb trees,
To dance with two legs.
And you realize just how lucky you are to be you,
To have your amazing body that you can do so many things with.
Starting to get darker now and the moon is up in the sky and all the stars.
And you lie back on the warm sand with your mermaid friend looking up at the beautiful sparkling sky.
Lie there feeling so loved and so as you and your mermaid friend tell each other beautiful stories about your lives.
Listen to the waves just gently coming in and going back out again.
Feeling so sleepy and so cozy.
So loved,
So safe,
So happy.
Just listening to the waves.
Peaceful,
Drifting into a peaceful sleep.
Knowing that when you wake again you will have your two legs back.
Feeling so grateful for this experience as a mermaid.
