Join me and my cat Maple and share in this slow and calming Yin Yoga & Yoga Nidra practice with some special cat cuddles & purrs. The practice of Yin Yoga can help to relax tension in the deeper connective tissues, as well as help to foster a deeper meditative practice. The yin yoga practice is about ~25 minutes, complete with ~10 minute guided Yoga Nidra rest. A special yoga practice for cat lovers that features the live sounds of purrs from Maple; Cat purrs have also been shown to reduce anxiety & stress. Together, the combination is divine. Use this practice before bedtime to relax and fall asleep or to start your day with a calm presence & inner connectedness. Or use it anytime you feel the need for a loving connection to yourself and your pet (or mine). The end of the practice will include a short, relaxing body scan and visualization practice, inspired by the practice of Yoga Nidra.
