Today,
We begin our journey with the root chakra,
Muladhara,
The foundation of your energetic system.
Located at the base of your pelvis,
Between your sitting bones,
It holds the energy of stability,
Safety,
And trust in life.
Let's begin by grounding into that energy,
Into the steady presence that always lives within you.
Find a comfortable seated or lying position.
Let your eyes close and take a deep,
Slow breath in through your nose,
And exhale softly through your mouth.
Feel your body getting heavier,
Your weight sinking into the surface beneath you.
Let the shoulders drop,
The belly soften,
The jaw unclench.
Let go of the need to control or hold anything.
The earth is holding you.
You are supported.
You can rest.
Bring your awareness to the base of your body,
Between your sitting bones,
The home of your root chakra.
Now,
Begin to breathe deeply into your lower belly.
Feel each inhale gently expanding your abdomen,
Reaching all the way down into the pelvic floor.
With every exhale,
Feel the breath flow down through your hips,
Your legs,
Your feet,
Connecting you to the earth.
Inhale,
I arrive in my body.
Exhale,
I release what I don't need.
Continue this natural rhythm,
Breathing low and slow,
Inviting your body to feel safe and grounded.
Now,
Imagine a warm,
Glowing,
Red light at the base of your pelvis.
With each breath,
This red light expands,
Pulsing softly with life and strength.
Visualize roots growing downward from your pelvis,
Deep into the earth,
Spreading wider and stronger with every breath.
Feel how the earth welcomes your roots,
Holding and nourishing them.
You are connected to life itself,
Sustained by something larger than you.
You belong,
You're safe,
You're grounded in this moment.
Bring your hands to your lower belly.
Feel the warmth of your palms,
The gentle rise and fall of your breath.
Let these words echo quietly inside of you.
I am safe.
I am connected.
I trust life.
I am at home in my body.
Let the meaning of each phrase sink into yourselves.
Let your breath anchor these truths in your belly.
Steady,
Grounded,
Alive.
Take one last deep breath into your belly,
Letting it fill completely,
And exhale through the mouth,
Releasing any remaining tension.
Sigh it out.
Visualize your red root light glowing steadily,
Like a warm ember that continues to support you throughout the day.
Know that wherever you go,
Your connection to the earth is always with you.
You're grounded,
You're supported.
You're home.
When you're ready,
Gently open your eyes and return to the space around you,
Calm,
Rooted,
And present.
