Meditation for grounding and soothing.
Find a comfortable seat with the legs crossed or fully extended.
Allow the hands to rest palm up or down.
Feel the spine elongate,
The top of the head lengthen towards the sky.
Gently close the eyes and bring the inner gaze to this space between the eyebrows.
Take a deep inhale through the nose and a long exhale out the mouth settling in.
Committing to stillness here,
Drawing the awareness to the lower half of the body melting into the earth.
The feet,
The knees,
The bottom,
The lower back releases,
The shoulders melt,
The brow and the eyes soften,
The jaw lets go,
The hips,
The whole body softens into the earth.
Drawing the awareness to the lower half of the body releasing more and more.
With each exhale allow the lower half of the body to soften.
Feeling the body held.
Feeling the body supported by the space in front of the body.
Feeling the body held by the space behind the body.
Feeling the body supported and held by the space above the body.
You are infinitely supported.
You are nourished and aligned.
Noticing the body releasing more and more into the arms of the earth.
Feeling that lower half surrendering.
So supported.
Breathing into that knowing.
Committing to stillness here as you breathe.
Noticing the expansion and contraction of the body with the breath.
Trusting this time and this space.
Supported.
Drawing the hands in front of the heart.
Noticing how you feel.
Moving through your day,
Your life,
With a feeling of support,
Alignment and knowing.
