You Are Allowed To Be Happy (A Poem)

You are allowed to be happy.

A poem.

What makes you think that you can't be happy?

Who told you that it wasn't okay to want more?

Who told you that you shouldn't go after your dreams?

Who told you that you weren't worth it?

Stop listening to them.

Stop believing them.

Stop feeding into what they want you to believe.

Because everything they're telling you is what they believe about themselves.

It's not what you have to believe about yourself.

You can trust that you are allowed to be happy.

You can trust that it's okay to want more in your life.

You should always go after your dreams no matter what.

You should always believe that you are worth it.

It might be hard sometimes to believe and trust those things.

But just know that trusting is the best thing for you.

It's so important to trust ourselves.

It's so important to not put our power into others.

It's so important to know that our life gets to look how we want it to.

Not how others decided it should look because they were afraid to trust themselves.

So go after it all.

Dream so big that it seems unreal.

Put happiness at the forefront of everything.

Always know that you are worthy of it all.

Listen to yourself always.

Your soul will be so happy that you did.
