Hello cocooners,
Sarah here from the Connecticut cocoon.
Today I will be exploring a vocal play for grief.
I'm not sure if you are all experiencing some grief in your life.
I have had some loss in the family and it is inspired by some nature messages.
I've had three come in for grief.
Two were animal sightings during the day and the third one actually I did not see but a loved one,
A family member saw.
So I'm gonna just bring that in.
So one was a bat fluttering over a meadow during the day.
Another was a raccoon wandering on the side of the road during the day as well.
And the third was dolphins.
And when I researched a little bit about these three animals,
They all gave the same message of bringing someone from life and journeying them into death.
Which I thought was perfect for what our family was going through.
And bat and raccoon,
Especially seeing them during the day,
I'm sure a lot of you are thinking,
Oh rabies!
Don't worry,
I was in my car.
But that oddness of it to me is like a bigger message of like seeing something that's a little bizarre,
A little odd.
And yeah,
When I looked at bat and raccoon,
Both of them are animals that are misunderstood.
And that was perfect for what we were experiencing.
Whether we're misunderstood or our grief is sometimes misunderstood by others or the person or the loved one that has passed or is passing might be misunderstood.
You might learn so much about that person after they're gone.
That's been my experience with a few different loved ones now is actually getting to know them more after they've left this world.
So basically,
We're just giving grief a sound today.
And you are welcome to receive this sound or copy the sound or sing along the sound with me or create your own for your own grief.
So I'm going to just be doing it in the moment today.
Here we go.
Hmm.
Hmm.
Hmm.
Hmm.
Hmm.
Hmm.
Hmm.
Hmm.
Hmm.
And I will leave it at that for today.
