Welcome,

Dear seeker,

To Dawn Stillness,

A Jedi morning meditation.

This exercise is best practiced by sitting in a chair with a comfortable back.

You would like to sit with your spine tall,

Hands resting gently on your knees or in your lap.

Breathe comfortably and naturally.

Feel the ground beneath you,

Solid,

Steady,

Supportive.

This is your foundation as a Jedi and as a being of the Force.

Let us begin this day not in urgency,

But in stillness.

Let your breath guide you home.

Just breathe,

Jedi.

Inhale slowly through your nose.

Exhale even slower through your mouth.

And again,

Inhale peace and exhale tension.

Let the rhythm of your breath mirror the rhythm of the Force,

Constant,

Unseen,

And always flowing.

Now imagine the first light of dawn rising on the horizon of your spirit.

Golden light cresting over calm hills,

Mist parting,

The world exhaling its first breath.

That light touches your brow,

Your face,

Your shoulders,

Your chest.

You are warmed.

You are safe.

You are ready.

Silently repeat in your mind,

I am still.

I am aware.

I am one with the Force.

Let those words settle in your bones.

You are not here to rush through this life.

You are here to witness it,

To move with grace,

To act with purpose.

Let go of yesterday.

It has passed.

Release the worry about what may come.

That time is not now.

This moment,

This breath,

This is your training ground.

This silence is your Jedi practice.

Now Jedi,

I ask you this.

What will you bring to the world today?

Patience?

Compassion?

Discipline?

Peace?

Whatever it is,

Let that intention rise in you like the Sun.

When you are ready,

Begin to move your fingers.

Gently roll your shoulders.

Invite motion back into your form.

Take a final breath with me.

Inhale strength.

Exhale worry.

The day awaits.

You are centered.

You are calm.

You are a Jedi.

Now open your eyes and begin.
