So imagining yourself walking on a beautifully sunny day through the forest.
On either side of the path,
You're surrounded by trees,
Lush and green.
It's a perfect temperature for walking.
Not too hot,
Not too cool.
And above you,
The sky is clear and blue.
Gentle sunshine shines through the trees and onto your skin.
A light breeze blows through the trees.
And you can hear your footsteps crunching on the path.
You can see rays of dappled sunlight coming through the trees and onto the ground.
There are patches of light and patches of shadow.
And you can feel the earth firm beneath your feet.
Supporting your every step.
And you can hear the sound of little birds chattering and chirping.
Your breathing is as deep and as easy as possible.
Feeling relaxed and at peace in the forest.
And although we've reached the end of this short meditation now,
Knowing that you can connect with nature at various points through your day.
Maybe noticing a plant in the same room as you or bringing to mind the forest.
