I release my fear to you,
God.
It does not belong in my heart.
Fear does not belong in the place where you have planted your love.
Fear is not the seed you sowed in me.
You have given me power,
Love,
And a sound mind.
Remind me again,
Lord,
As I speak these words,
That fear cannot survive where your spirit dwells.
Let this truth echo in my heart.
Fear is not my portion.
When the shadows of doubt begin to creep in,
I will declare,

When my mind races and my heart feels overwhelmed,

Lord,
My God,
It is your voice that brings me peace.
It is your word that calms the raging seas of my heart.
You are the steady anchor that holds me in the middle of chaos.
Though the winds may howl and the night may seem endless,
I will not be shaken.
Let your presence wrap around me like a shield,
Protecting me from the lies that fear tries to whisper.
I release my grip on the anxieties that strangle my spirit.
I release every worry,
Every doubt that keeps me bound.
I hand them over to you now,
Trusting that you can hold what I cannot.
You have not called me to live in fear.
I will trust in you,
Father.
I will trust you when I cannot see the way.
I will trust you when the path is dark and uncertain.
I will trust you when my heart feels heavy and my mind is weary.
I stand on your promise that you will never leave me nor forsake me.
Even in the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil.
Father,
I end this prayer the way I began it,
At your feet,
Trusting,
Believing.
I place my life all in your hands.
