Hi,
I'm Peggy Sielfan.
I'm a personal development coach and I'd like to guide you into a very simple relaxation technique that can restore,
Renew and revitalize in just a few minutes.
It can bring you into an integrated state and even bring you into the zone.
So begin by sitting comfortably,
Close your eyes,
Take a nice full deep breath in through your nose,
Let go with a really big sigh,
Letting out tensions,
Letting out expectations.
Allow yourself to be present.
Shift from thinking and doing to just feeling and being.
We'll release tensions in the neck with a nice full deep inhalation through your nose as you exhale gently.
Lower your left ear towards your left shoulder.
No stress,
No force,
Just gently.
Breathe.
Slow deep breaths.
Now inhaling deeply,
Bring your head back to center.
As you exhale,
Lower your right ear towards your right shoulder.
Feel that resistance on the left side of the neck and just breathe into it.
Let it go.
Inhaling deeply,
Bring your head back to center.
And I'll guide you now into a very simple breathing technique.
Begin by taking a nice full deep breath in through your nose.
As you exhale,
Blow the air out through gently pursed lips as if you're blowing through a straw.
Make the exhalation a little bit longer than each inhalation and just continue this deep,
Slow breathing.
Blowing out tensions,
Expectations,
Fears,
Anxieties,
Worries,
Frustrations,
Angers,
Empty them out.
They're not serving you.
Blow them out to make room so that you can breathe in new energies and infinite possibilities.
Really be fully engaged in the sound of your own breathing.
After the next full exhalation,
Allow your breath to resume naturally and just bring your focus to the middle of your brow center and the middle of your forehead.
And now just give yourself permission to drop into relaxation and drop into stillness.
As thoughts come up,
Just notice them.
You are not your thoughts.
So let them come and let them go.
And if thoughts become disturbing,
Just resume that breathing technique we just did,
The straw breath,
And come back to focusing on the middle of the brow center and allow yourself to revitalize in just these few minutes.
So as you drop into stillness,
You may stay here for as long as you like,
Or you may now open your eyes and come back into the day.
I wish you well.
