Quick tip here,
If you struggle to feel your feelings,
I have a really good method you can use to actually allow your system to feel it without trying to repress it or get rid of it as soon as it comes up.
All you have to do is sit down by yourself.
Take a couple deep breaths in and out,
Close your eyes and focus on where it's showing up in your system.
So if you're feeling really,
Really angry,
What does that look like?
Do you feel your head pulsing?
Are your hands sweating and shaking?
Do you feel vibrations going through your legs?
Is there a pit in your stomach?
Just close your eyes and focus on all the different areas of your body that you're feeling it.
Don't try and get rid of it.
Just focus on where it is.
And then once you've figured out where it is,
Ask yourself,
What does it look like?
How big is it?
What is the texture?
Is it solid?
Is it a gas?
Is it like smoky cloud vibes?
What does the surface look like?
Is it smooth?
Is it spiky?
Is it moving?
Is there like a wind tunnel in there or is it a stationary object?
Really try and identify every single thing about this feeling in your system.
Everything,
Every characteristic.
Do that for every single place you feel it.
So again,
If you're feeling it in your head,
Answer all those questions for wherever it is in your head.
Take a deep breath in and envision it being released from your system.
If you're feeling it in your legs,
Then move on to your legs and do the exact same thing and envision yourself releasing it.
And in this practice of you looking at and identifying and really building a full picture of what the emotion is,
Out because you're actually giving it attention and trying to find ways to describe it and hold it there so that your body can move through it and process it so it's a really really good tip
