Welcome to a guided meditation with Dolphin.
Let's take a short journey to meet with playful,
Explorative,
Highly intelligent Dolphin.
The intention of this meditation is to let go with trust,
To feel the merging of fire energy from the south with the calm cooling waters of Mama Ocean.
Allow Dolphin to bring you a message about your intuitive nature,
About the energy that is created when you tune into your highest potential and your vision for yourself.
Have your journal and a pen near you as well as a glass of water.
You can do this meditation seated or lying down in journey pose if you like.
Lie on your back,
Palms facing up,
Head in alignment or seated upright,
Legs folded,
Hands in receptive pose or feet on the floor just to stay grounded uncrossed.
Begin by feeling your bones fully engaged with the earth.
With a deep ocean breath and a relaxed straight spine,
Fill your belly with air.
Let the ocean breath rise and fall while you imagine the breath of the ocean and of Dolphin expanding and contracting.
The waves inhaling and exhaling as one body in and out.
Keep this breath going in a slow steady rhythm.
Feel the pulse of your own heartbeat.
Allow it to keep time with the rhythm of the ocean.
Imagine yourself on a seashore,
Perhaps one in your memory or a travel fantasy.
There's warm white sand under your feet and sunshine out over the water.
Sunrays glisten on the surface of the calm waves.
The rhythmic sound lulls you into a trance.
Salt air kisses your cheeks and cleanses your spirit.
You're completely at peace in this moment together with the soft tides and the warm sand and sun.
Sitting in the sand you feel safe and grounded and slightly rocked by the power of the ocean.
How does it feel to be so near the water?
What sensations are coming up for you?
The ocean is dark and deep,
Full of mystery.
It's the birthplace of all life.
It is ancient and full of vital energy.
How do you feel in its presence?
As the tide comes closer to your feet and your toes get slightly wet,
You realize that if you stay the ocean will keep coming further up to meet you.
It touches you in a steady rhythm,
Drawing you up into it.
There's a subtle movement on the water's surface.
Is it something swimming?
As the waves begin to grow taller and the Sun shines through the back of them,
You can see a figure moving one,
Two,
Perhaps more.
Watch this movement and observe softly.
If you're feeling curious,
Try silently communicating with the creature.
What would you like it to know?
Go ahead and ask it the question that's coming up for you right now.
Dolphin wants you to know something.
It has a teaching for you and it's giving you a signal to listen in a very particular way.
Follow its lead and listen closely to its instructions.
If you need to move closer or adapt in order to be able to understand its language,
Do that now.
When you've tuned into dolphin's frequency,
Get very comfortable.
If you're underwater,
Slowly activate your gills and breathe very deeply.
If you're still on land,
Increase the capacity of your breath,
Sending oxygen up into the third eye point in the center of your forehead and above your eyebrows as well as fully extending your belly.
Repeat this dolphin breath as you listen.
Listen carefully to what the creature has to say to you.
Dolphin's medicine for you will help you move fluidly toward your vision.
If dolphin invites you to do something with her,
Feel free to move in the way that feels most organic and innate for you.

Find your way back to the shore and lie down in the warm sand.
Bring the medicine fully into your body.
Rest deeply in the knowledge that you're making a difference by being present to the creatures of the sea and the earth just by listening.
Softly feel yourself come back into your body,
Grounded on the earth,
Bringing your full attention to your head,
Your neck,
The length of your spine,
Your arms and hands,
Your legs and finally your feet.
Wiggle some fingers and toes.
