How might you give yourself an opportunity to put it all down?
To just let go of responsibility?
Just for a moment?
What if you removed the weight from your shoulders?
The heaviness in your heart?
The unease,
Dis-ease,
Or discomfort in your belly?
The rigidity,
Perhaps,
Somewhere located in your body?
Can you relax?
Bring ease?
Flexibility?
Can you let go?
Can you let yourself soften?
By letting it go?
It.
What is it for you?
Maybe it's something specific?
Maybe it's just the overall feeling?
Of distress or overwhelm?
Or dissatisfaction?
Or disappointment?
Or expectation?
Or desire?
What if you let it go?
For just right now,
Here.
You and I.
Together.
Letting it go.
I'm doing it too.
It feels good to just say,
I'm letting it go.
Should we say it out loud,
Together?
I'm letting it go.
I'm letting it go.
Doesn't mean it won't be there when I open my eyes again.
But can I just be in this space,
Imagining?
Giving my body and my mind the opportunity to feel what it's like to let go.
To let it go.
To slow down.
To be with what is here when I do let go.
When I am present to myself.
When you are present with yourself.
And feel what is there.
When there's more comfort in your belly.
More ease in your body.
More space at your shoulders and at your chest.
And in your jaw.
What can be created and felt from this place in you.
What can be dreamed of,
Imagined,
And expressed from this place.
When you put it all down.
