If you're searching for more direction and purpose in life,
You might not need clearer answers,
You might just need bigger questions.
From my work helping people with their life direction,
The following 5 principles are particularly powerful in helping you to create really compelling goals.
In this guided meditation,
I'll share with you these 5 principles that can get you not just clarity for your life direction,
But ignite your inner fire,
So you feel more powerful in your own life.
First we'll relax the mind to get into a reflective state,
Then I'll share the principles and ask you some big questions,
So you can begin that inner change.
So make sure you're in a safe,
Quiet place,
Not driving or using machinery,
So you can relax,
This isn't medical advice or therapy,
This is about empowering your personal growth.
So make yourself comfortable,
Close your eyes,
And take a deep breath in through the nose and out through the mouth.
Take another deep breath,
Then let your breathing settle into its own natural rhythm,
And let your body relax.
Let it settle into the surface underneath,
Allow the muscles to soften,
And as the body relaxes,
The mind relaxes.
Now,
Principle one,
Set goals that blow your mind,
Goals that are on what I call the frontier of possibility,
On the edge of what is realistically possible,
With inspired effort and self-belief.
And put everything on the table,
Every area of your life,
Reflect on it for a moment.
If you went for it,
And nothing could stop you,
What would your life be like?
Now,
Principle two,
Find the emotion,
Goals need life breathed into them,
That life breath is the energy of excitement,
Make goals that excite you so much,
You can't wait to get started,
So,
What goals excite you so much that you light up?
Principle three,
Discover your why,
What is your reason for wanting your goals,
The force driving you to change your life,
What is your why?
Now,
Principle four,
Focus on becoming,
The heart of your journey is who you are,
Focus on what kind of person you need to become to reach your goal,
Reflect on this,
If you had already achieved your goals,
Who would you now be?
Lastly,
Principle five,
Build your sense of personal power,
Once you have made your action plan and you start your journey,
Consistent effort is key,
Completing daily micro actions that become habits,
Not only provide you with evidence of your progress,
It's evidence you're becoming who you need to be,
This builds self respect,
A sense of power and control over your own life,
So reflect on this,
What daily habits could you build into your life that would have massive payoffs?
Well done,
Now open your eyes,
Bringing any insights with you,
So you can now continue powering yourself in the right direction.
