Hello everyone.
Now before we begin,
I just want to invite you now to find a comfortable seat somewhere in a quiet space where you will not be disturbed for the duration of this meditation.
And let's begin by simply focusing on your breath,
The gentle inhale and the exhale.
And just taking a moment to listen to all the different sounds that you hear.
And give yourself full permission to be completely present in this moment.
And just continue to breathe.
And if you find yourself feeling a bit stressed or thinking about all of the different tasks that you need to complete later today,
Just for a moment visualize putting all of those worries into a box.
And let's just take that box and set it over to the side.
So just that you can be here right now.
And whatever comes up for you today,
Try your best not to judge.
There's no wrong way to show up in today's exercise.
So offer yourself a little gentleness and a little compassion if you can in whatever way feels best for you.
And let's take a big deep breath in and release.
And let's do that one more time.
Big inhale in and let it go.
And just continuing to breathe at a normal gentle pace.
And this exercise today is going to be a guided visual meditation.
So allow your imagination to really play here today.
And if you don't really see a lot,
Then that's also okay.
Meditation is something that will develop over time with practice.
And so now sitting in your chair and feeling the weight of your body being supported by the earth below you.
And I want you to imagine these big strong roots growing from your legs and your feet and seeing these roots being planted deep into the earth.
And don't forget to breathe.
And just take a moment to check your posture.
And do your best to sit tall and strong like a wise oak tree.
And every breath that you take,
See these roots growing bigger and stronger and planting themselves deep into the earth.
And just notice how you're feeling in your body.
Again,
Without any judgment and letting the strength of the earth move through your body in this moment.
Nature is such a powerful,
Supportive teacher,
Especially as we are embarking on this healing journey.
She reminds us to slow down and to stay strong despite the harsh elements that this world can bring.
She also reminds us to remain flexible,
To be soft and to open.
She teaches us about the endless cycle of life,
Death and rebirth.
And that no matter what life brings our way,
There is always an opportunity to be reborn and to flourish unapologetically with resilience and strength.
And as we continue tapping into this powerful vibration of love and strength,
I wonder what it would feel like in this moment if you could send some of that healing energy to your inner child.
And so just take a moment to visualize your inner child.
And perhaps it's during a time when they needed some extra love and support.
And in your own way,
Send some of this healing energy,
Some of this strength you are embodying,
Send some of that to them now.
And just notice how they respond to your presence without making any meaning of it in this moment.
We are just lovingly observing without any judgment.
And again,
Don't forget to breathe.
And as you remain seated in this powerful,
Loving presence,
Feeling strong and rooted in your body,
What could be some words of love or encouragement that you could share with your inner child?
What is something that they need to hear from you right now?
And take your time.
We are going to pause here for a moment.
We are going to take a moment to recognize our inner child.
And just take a moment now to thank your inner child for showing up for you in this meditation in whatever way feels good for you.
And we also want to give thanks and appreciation to the loving,
Supportive energy of Mother Nature for holding us as we continue this path.
I just want to invite you to once again check your posture and readjust if you need to embody the feeling of strength and power of that wise oak tree.
And just breathe.
And now coming back to your breath.
And whenever you are ready,
Slowly take your time and come back to the room.
And whenever you are ready,
You can open your eyes.
