Welcome to this guided visualization.
Give yourself permission to relax,
Let go of distractions,
And be open to whatever insights are ready to emerge.
Find a comfortable position that allows your body to settle into the support beneath you.
To ground your energy,
Consider hands on the body or palms face down.
To open up your field,
Allow your hands to face up towards the sky.
Seated or supine,
Know that whatever you choose is where you are meant to be today.
Allow your eyes to gently close.
And begin to focus on your breath.
Take a slow breath in through the nose and a long breath out through the mouth.
Again,
Inhaling deeply.
And exhaling completely.
Do this one more time,
Breathing in.
Hold it there for a moment.
And then exhale,
Let it go all the way,
Getting into the bottom lobes of the lungs,
Releasing completely and feeling lighter.
Allow your breath to return to its natural rhythm.
Remind yourself that there is nowhere to be.
And nothing to do.
Simply allow yourself to be here.
Feel the weight of your body resting against the earth.
Notice the places where you are supported.
Feel where you can soften and where you can let go.
Let's invite our imagination to the surface.
As you settle into this stillness,
Imagine yourself standing at the edge of a vast ocean.
It is twilight.
The sky is painted in shades of soft blue,
Lavender,
Silver,
And gold.
The air is warm against your skin.
The rhythmic sound of waves fill your ears.
Each wave arriving gently upon the shore.
And retreating effortlessly back into the sea.
Notice the landscape around you.
The colors,
Sounds,
The feeling of sand beneath your feet,
And the scent of the salt air.
Allow yourself to become fully immersed in this place.
Now let's invite.
The ocean to represent the vastness of your inner world.
Your emotions.
.
.
Your intuition… your dreams.
Your memories.
The parts of yourself that cannot always be explained through logic.
Remember that not everything needs to be understood in order to be trusted.
Sometimes wisdom arrives as a feeling.
Sometimes it arrives as a knowing.
A whisper or a gentle nudge from within.
As you stand by the water's edge,
You notice a small boat waiting for you at the shoreline.
It is safe,
Steady,
And strong.
When you are ready,
Step into the boat.
Allow yourself to drift.
There is no destination,
No timeline,
No agenda.
Only the experience of floating.
Being held,
Being supported.
Allow the water beneath you to carry your weight.
And notice what it feels like to stop steering for a moment.
To stop planning for a minute.
To stop trying to control every outcome.
Imagine setting down the responsibilities you've been carrying.
The expectations,
The pressure,
The need to have all of the answers.
Place them gently beside you in the boat.
And then notice how your body responds.
Feel what changes when you no longer need to hold everything so tightly.
Your boat continues to drift peacefully.
Above you,
The moon hangs in the evening sky.
It's a waning moon.
A moon that is slowly releasing its light.
Not because it has failed,
Not because it is losing something.
But because it understands the importance of letting go.
Nature does not cling to what has already served its purpose.
The trees release their leaves.
The tides ebb and flow.
The moon waxes and wanes.
Everything in nature knows when it's time to expand and when it's time to surrender.
As you gain upon this moon.
And allow your eyes to meet its light.
Ask yourself,
What am I ready to release?
Perhaps it is a belief,
A habit.
An expectation or a fear.
Maybe it's a version of yourself that no longer feels aligned.
You do not need to force an answer.
Simply remain open and trust what naturally arises.
Now imagine placing whatever you are ready to release into the palm of your hands.
You can see it clearly.
You can feel its weight.
You acknowledge the role it has played in your life.
And when you are ready,
You offer it to the ocean.
You watch as the water receives it without judgment,
Without resistance.
Allow it to be carried away by the tide.
Notice how the ocean never struggles to let go.
The wave arrives and the wave departs.
Nothing is held onto forever.
Take a breath in.
.
.
And exhale slowly.
Notice the spaciousness that begins to emerge within you.
The room that has been created because you've released what is no longer yours to carry.
Now bring your awareness to your heart center.
Imagine a soft silver light glowing there.
The light of the moon,
The light of your intuition.
The light of your inner wisdom.
This light has always been present.
Even when life feels uncertain,
Even when the path ahead is unclear.
Even when you cannot see the entire journey.
This light remains.
Ask yourself,
What would it feel like to trust my own unfolding?
What would it feel like to trust the timing of my life?
What would it feel like to believe that I am exactly where I need to be?
Allow these questions to settle gently in your heart.
The clarity will emerge for what you need to focus on in this moment.
There is nothing you need to solve right now,
Nothing you need to figure out.
Only an invitation to trust.
Trust the wisdom you've gathered.
Trust the lessons you've learned.
Trust in the person you are becoming.
Trust the unseen currents carrying you forward.
And with that,
The boat begins to slowly return toward the shoreline.
The moon continues its journey across the sky.
The ocean continues its dance with the tides.
And you carry with you a renewed sense of ease and trust.
A reminder that you do not need to force your way through life.
You can move with it,
Flow with it,
Trust it.
Begin to deepen your breath.
Feel the support beneath your body once more.
Coming back to this moment and noticing the room around you.
Invite gentle movement back into your fingers,
Your toes,
Your wrists,
And your ankles.
Before you open your eyes,
Silently repeat to yourself,
I release what I cannot control.
I trust what I cannot yet see.
I honor the wisdom of my own unfolding.
And then take one final deep breath in.
And a long breath out.
And when you feel ready.
You'll gently blink your eyes open.
Returning with softness,
Trust,
And the opportunity to come home to yourself.
Feel free to stay in this state as long as your body,
Mind,
And spirit need you to.
There is absolutely no rush coming out of this space.
Take your time.
I thank you for allowing me to guide you through your meditation here on Insight Timer.
