My name is Sangeet and today I want to share with you something specific about letting go.
We all attract different situations.
Sometimes we like them,
Sometimes we don't.
Usually,
When we like them,
It is because they make us feel good.
It is because they are in alignment with us and the Universe.
When we don't like them,
Chances are that those particular experiences are not so much in alignment with what is best for us.
What should we do with this last type of scenarios?
The ones that don't feel good to us,
The ones that drain our energy or bring us down.
First,
Let's have in mind that whatever we feel,
It is always about us,
Not others.
What feels good to others may not feel good to us and vice versa.
Second,
We acknowledge and accept how we truly feel,
And we recognize that this particular thing or person or this particular people are not of our best interest.
This step can be tricky because we may like something about it,
But one thing is to like and to have instant gratification,
And another thing is to really benefit from it at the core.
There are certain things that we like,
But every time we experience them,
We feel down afterwards.
So,
In order to accomplish this step,
We have to distinguish what is really good for us and what is not in the long term.
Third,
We let it go.
Now,
Let's pay attention to the expression letting go.
If we are in the process of letting go,
It is because we held on to something,
Otherwise there wouldn't be anything to let go of,
Right?
And the stronger we hold on to something,
The stronger is the fear of letting go,
And the harder it is to let it go.
Now,
Imagine if we literally hold on to something,
An object.
We hold it with our hands and we close them around that thing to avoid dropping it,
Right?
So,
Letting go is exactly the opposite.
We open our hands and we drop it,
We let it go.
It is like holding a bird and then letting it fly.
This is what we do when we let go of something.
We imagine ourselves cutting the cords of whatever situation or people,
And we focus on our inner work and expansion,
Replacing those hard experiences by new ones that we really love and that bring us peace.
Remember,
The process of letting go is natural.
There is nothing that we actually have to do besides letting it happen.
In fact,
What makes us anxious and worried and stressed about something is the constant decision of holding on to that same thing.
Letting go is a daily routine.
It is all about going through the experiences without owning them,
Because we are not here to have something.
We are here to feel,
To experience,
To have fun creating,
And to share our uniqueness,
And then go back to where we came from.
Nothing here belongs to us,
And nothing in us belongs here.
We are just tourists enjoying our travel.
So,
Today,
Let's live this life to the fullest,
And let's live it with our hands open,
So we can freely give and receive.
Let's live it in a way that we can enjoy the beauty,
That we can be part of its expansion,
And that at any moment we can also leave and go with a smile in our heart and a clear vision in our minds of who we truly are.
