Welcome dear friends,
This is Sarah and I'm so happy to be back with you again.
This is a guided practice for the Full Moon in Virgo and the Spring Equinox in 2022.
The Full Moon in Virgo rises on Friday the 18th of March and it is closely followed by the Equinox and the Sun moving into Aries on Sunday the 20th.
If you haven't done one of these practices before,
Please have a pen,
A piece of paper or a notebook or your journal to hand.
We're going to spend some time reflecting with some journal prompts that I will give you and I will give you space to answer the questions.
We're going to do some releasing work because this is a Full Moon and we're also going to set some intentions with the Spring Equinox and the beginning of a new astrological year.
So if you need to pause,
Go do that now,
I'll wait for you.
And then when you're back and you're ready,
Let's begin by just taking a couple of breaths together.
And as you breathe,
See if you can let go of any thoughts,
Any worries,
Any fears or anything that you think you need to do in this moment.
And see if you can just settle in to spend this time together and take time for you.
You can come back to any thoughts later and maybe they won't even seem so important by the time we're done.
But for now,
Let's just let them go.
And let's set the intention together that we will be fully present and that we will commit to taking this time for ourselves to think about the direction that we want to move forward in,
What's important to us and how we're going to move forward in this moment.
And how we're going to get there.
We are emerging from a long dark winter and even though it still feels like there's a lot of darkness in the world,
The earth is slowly beginning to wake up.
The first flowers of spring are appearing in the Northern Hemisphere.
The days are getting longer.
And slowly from the depths of winter,
We begin to reawaken and our energy begins to rise.
And as the sun bursts into Aries on the equinox,
We're filled with confidence and courage and drive to move forward.
And as we move forward,
We begin to feel the sun rising in the sky.
The full moon in Virgo forms a grand earth trine with Pluto in Capricorn and the North Node in Taurus.
The trine is harmonious energy.
The planets work well together,
But sometimes they lack drive.
And the sun in Aries comes just the right moment to light a fire under the work that we need to do to move forward.
Virgo is represented by the goddess of the harvest.
It is energy that knows how to work with the turning of the seasons.
It knows how to work with the land.
And it knows when it is time to plant seeds so that we might have an abundant harvest this autumn.
Virgo is often also represented by Persephone and her rise from the underworld back onto earth coincided with the spring equinox.
And it brought us spring.
And it brought us hope.
And it brought us spring.
So this full moon and equinox,
Like Persephone,
We are going to rise and we're going to commit to the work that we need to do so that we might have an abundant harvest this autumn.
Virgo is concerned with our habits,
With our daily routines,
With our hands and with our health.
It's practical energy.
It works with the land.
It's down to earth.
And sitting opposite the sun and Neptune in Pisces,
Our heads can be in the clouds a little bit.
And this full moon helps bring us down to earth if we've been floating away this Pisces season.
And it helps us get to work.
And particularly what it might do is shine a light on any unhealthy habits that we have,
Even the ones that we deny that we have or that we don't want to look at.
That grand earth train with Pluto and Capricorn asks us what are the unhealthy coping mechanisms and structures that we've been relying on to hold ourselves up?
And the train to the north node asks us how do they stop you from reaching your fullest potential?
So that is the first question we're going to ask ourselves.
What unhealthy habits and coping mechanisms have you structured around you or under you that are stopping you reaching your full potential?
And that can be as simple as not sleeping enough,
Not eating well,
Not treating your body well.
But spend a couple of minutes now just asking yourself what unhealthy habits and coping mechanisms have you surrounded yourself with that feel safe but that are actually stopping you reaching your full potential?
I'll keep an eye on the time for you.
Write it all down or if you prefer you can just contemplate and you can journal at the end,
You choose.
So now that you have had one minute with this question I'd like you to ask yourself the question again and this time I'd like you to be really honest.
What unhealthy habits and coping mechanisms have you structured around you that are stopping you reaching your full potential?
And this time I'd like you to be really honest.
What unhealthy habits or coping mechanisms are stopping you from reaching your fullest potential?
And now we're going to ask ourselves where is our head in the clouds?
Where have we been floating away on all that Pisces energy particularly because Mercury is there too and Mercury rules our thoughts?
Where are we being unrealistic?
Where are we being elusive?
What are we avoiding?
And how can we come down to Earth?
Where is your head in the clouds?
Write it all down.
And now I'd like you to ask yourself the question again.
What unhealthy habits or coping mechanisms have you structured around you that are stopping you reaching your full potential?
And this time I'd like you to be really honest.
What unhealthy habits or coping mechanisms are stopping you from reaching your fullest potential?
And now I'd like you to ask yourself the question again.
Next we're going to ask ourselves what does the healthiest,
Happiest version of you look like?
The version of you that is working toward your full potential.
What does the healthiest,
Happiest version of you look like?
Write it all down.
Be specific.
If you can feel how the healthiest,
Happiest version of you would feel as you write.
What is the healthiest,
Happiest version of you?
The answer is the healthiest,
Happiest version of you.
What is the healthiest,
Happiest version of you?
The answer is the healthiest,
Happiest version of you.
What is the healthiest,
Happiest version of you?
The answer is the healthiest,
Happiest version of you.
So now let's think about self-discipline.
And let's ask where can you work hard now to ensure an abundant harvest this autumn?
What area of your life requires some self-discipline?
Write it all down.
What is the healthiest,
Happiest version of you?
The answer is the healthiest,
Happiest version of you.
What is the healthiest,
Happiest version of you?
The answer is the healthiest,
Happiest version of you.
And finally we're going to ask ourselves to use a little bit of that divine connection that comes with all the Piscean energy.
And we're going to tap into that fullest potential and the highest version of ourselves.
And we're just going to ask a simple question and we're going to write down whatever comes to mind.
So ask yourself what change is coming?

So by now you should have two lists.
And you should have a list of all the unhealthy habits and the healthiest ones.

And you should have a list of all the unhealthy habits and the coping mechanisms and strategies that hold you back.
And you should have a list of what area of your life requires some work and what the healthiest,
Happiest version of you looks like.
Use the full moon on the 18th of March to release all of the unhealthy habits that you want to let go of,
All the ones that are stopping you from reaching your fullest potential.
You can take your list and very safely burn it.
Or because this is earth energy,
If you like,
You can rip it up and you could plant it in the ground.
And then at the spring equinox when the sun moves into Aries on Sunday,
Take all your answers to the questions about the area of your life that needs self-discipline and work,
The happiest,
Healthiest version of you.
And whatever change is on the horizon.
Make them into your spring equinox intentions.
Intentions are positive statements in the present tense as if they've already happened.
And use the equinox to write them all down.
And if you wish,
You could plant those on the earth too.
But this time plant them in either an area of ground outside in your garden or even in a house plant or a pot of herbs.
And commit to nurturing them,
Watering them and feeding them over the next few months.
So that you may have an abundant harvest this autumn.
