Good morning,
Friends,
And welcome to another morning mini here on Insight Timer and a few minute movements as well.
I've got my coffee in hand feel free to gather a drink.
If you like you can do this practice.
Seated.
Nothing that you need.
We're just going to take.
.
.
Few minutes.
Of quiet.
Quiet before the day fills up with messages and conversations.
And expectation.
And for this whole practice,
You can close the eyes if you like.
But I'm here with you.
To sit with you as we begin our day.
We're taking a moment.
Just for this.
Just for our breath.
Let it come naturally.
No effort.
No performance finding this quiet rhythm.
You can bring.
.
.
Your hands to your heart,
If you like,
Or your belly.
Feel the breath.
The simplest of movements with the breath,
We're just going to lift the shoulders up on the inhale.
And let them fall away on the exhale.
Up on the inhale.
And roll on the exhale.
Just take a few of these movements.
As we find The rhythm.
By a pace of the breath.
Letting any noise that might be creeping into the mind of.
.
.
To-do lists.
Or sketches or.
.
.
Running ahead with the rest of the day.
We'll just notice.
Maybe bring the awareness back to the breath for a moment.
We use the word Why?
We know that the world.
.
.
Around us and within us is never truly silent.
And that's okay.
Perhaps though as we bring our awareness inwards,
We.
.
.
Find a little peace,
A little pause,
Just to ask ourselves,
Perhaps,
What would we like to meet today?
Not what you need to get done or what is expected of you.
But what would we like to meet or how?
Would we like to meet the day?
Perhaps.
With steadiness or patience.
Perhaps with a little more peace.
Or space between things.
The answer can be as simple as you wish.
Maybe it's something we can return to as the noise of the day begins to grow.
We can pause here in this moment,
But also.
.
.
Throughout your day.
You can take a breath.
A moment.
Little piece.
In a busy day and in a busy world.
So maybe just.
.
.
Bringing the hands to the heart for a moment and we'll just take a lovely deep inhale.
Sigh a breath out.
You can open the eyes if they're closed.
And I welcome you to a brand new day.
Thank you so much for joining me.
I'll see you again soon.
Farewell for now.
