Hello and welcome.

If you're newly pregnant,

This is a space to ground you in your body and honor the spark of new life within you.

I'm Sarah at Wild Honey Perinatal,

And I'm so glad you're here.

This is the first audio in my pregnancy series.

Each week we hold space for your unique point in pregnancy,

Exploring your baby's growth and grounding into the present moment.

My goal is to quiet the outside world,

Help you tune into your body,

And nurture the bond that's already growing between you and your baby.

Today we're honoring the very first stirrings of new life.

Four weeks pregnant is a threshold time,

Where maybe becomes yes,

Where you know you're pregnant but may not feel any different.

I'm honored to meet you in this liminal space.

Find a quiet,

Supportive place to sit or lie down.

Give yourself permission to drop into the body and drop into the moment.

Join me now in resting your hands gently on your lap or low on your belly.

Close your eyes and tune in to the rhythm of your breath.

This breath is your anchor.

As you inhale,

Feel the cool air in the back of your throat.

As you exhale,

Feel your body soften into the surface beneath you.

At four weeks pregnant,

You are carrying the first flickers of new life.

You may feel a mix of emotions.

Excitement,

Joy,

Disbelief,

Or maybe a bit of nervousness or overwhelm.

Acknowledge whatever you're feeling without judgment.

Your emotions are part of this journey and they are all welcome as travel companions.

Now let's turn our attention to the body.

Notice the muscles in your face,

Your jaw.

Relax them if you need to.

Moving down to the shoulders,

Notice if you feel any tension.

With your next exhale,

See if you can drop them just a little lower.

Take a deep breath and turn your attention to your chest,

Your arms,

Your hands.

What do you feel?

Take a moment to acknowledge.

And now let's turn our attention to your lower stomach,

The area between your belly button and your pubic bone,

Where life is just beginning.

If you haven't placed your hands on your stomach,

You can do so now.

Visualize the miracle occurring beneath your hands right now.

At four weeks,

Your baby is just the size of a poppy seed.

Although they are tiny,

They already contain within them all the genetic information they need to grow into who they'll become.

Right now,

Implantation has just occurred.

Your baby is finding their footing,

Nestling into the nutrient-rich lining of your uterus,

Their first home.

Even now,

At this early stage,

The cells of your baby's tiny body are starting to specialize,

Choosing what will become the eyes,

The brain,

And the heart.

Deep within you,

A universe is being born in miniature.

Your body is home to a miracle unfolding.

Let these words wash over you like a gentle tide.

You can repeat them to yourself,

Either internally or out loud,

If it feels right.

Like a seed beneath the winter snow,

My baby grows in the quiet,

Sacred dark of my body.

I trust the tiny,

Powerful spark of life within me.

I hold this new soul in a space of wonder and love.

I am calm,

I am peaceful,

And I am ready to grow.

Whatever I feel is okay,

I do not need to perform motherhood for anyone or myself.

I can be who I am in this moment.

I release the need to know everything today.

Today,

Being is enough.

My body knows exactly how to support this little life.

I am deeply connected to the rhythm of nature and creation.

Every breath I take nourishes me and my baby.

I am surrounded by support,

Seen and unseen.

This journey is unfolding in perfect,

Divine timing.

I honor the silent work of these early days.

I know that so much is happening in the stillness.

Now,

Let's take a moment to send love and warmth to this tiny poppy seed of new life.

Welcome,

Little life.

I am so honored to be your first home.

We are weaving a story together,

One heartbeat at a time.

Visualize that tiny poppy seed nestled safely within you.

Imagine a soft,

Golden thread of light connecting your heart to that tiny center of life.

This thread is the beginning of a lifelong bond.

With every exhale,

Send a wave of warmth and welcome down that thread.

If it feels right,

You can tell your baby,

You are welcome here.

We are beginning this walk together.

Take one more deep,

Cleansing breath.

Feel the strength in your spine and the softness in your heart.

Gently roll your shoulders and wiggle your toes,

Feeling the solid ground beneath you.

As you move back into the world,

Remember that you don't have to do anything to make this life or this pregnancy happen.

Your body and your baby are already doing the work.

You can rest in the knowledge that today,

Just being is enough.

The mother in me honors the mother in you.

Go in peace.
