The Moonlit Lake Of Hidden Wholeness

Welcome,

Beautiful soul.

It may not be night where you are in the world right now.

But the moon still hangs in the sky somewhere.

It's silver light touching oceans and mountains and forests.

The moon is shining upon people you will never meet.

The moon is always there,

A quiet witness to everything.

A keeper of tides and dreams.

So please close your eyes and just for now imagine that it's night time wherever you are.

The air is cool and soft.

The world has fallen into stillness.

There is a sky above you so dark and so deep it feels like it could hold all your dreams and wishes without ever running out of space.

Behind your closed lids,

See the stars scattered like tiny diamonds.

And let the moon's glow spill all over you.

Feel it on your skin,

Cool and warm at the same time,

A strange and perfect paradox.

Allow the moon's light to soak into every fibre of your being.

Right through your skin,

Into your muscles,

Into your bones,

Into all of you.

The moonlight wraps itself around you like a blanket woven from peace itself.

You are so safe here.

You are so held.

You are so protected.

As you breathe,

Notice how it feels to be illuminated like this.

To feel as though every inch of you is quietly glowing.

Begin to take some long,

Slow,

Deep breaths at your own pace.

Inhale the moonlight as if it's a gift made only for you.

Let it fill your chest,

Your belly,

Let it move into your blood,

Let it swirl through every cell.

And on your exhales,

Allow anything heavy to fall away from you.

With each long,

Slow,

Deep breath,

Feel the outside world gently unhooking from you.

All the conversations you've had,

All the things you didn't quite finish,

The thoughts that have been pacing in your mind all day.

With every breath,

Feel them all begin to dissolve.

Your body knows how to let them go.

And as you continue to breathe slowly and deeply,

Your body feels lighter,

Your mind clearer,

Your heart expansive.

And now,

You see something approaching you through the air,

A carpet.

It moves as if it's alive,

Floating towards you with absolute grace.

A carpet nothing like the kind that sits on a living room floor.

This one shimmers in silver and gold threads.

It glows with deep blues that move like an ocean at midnight.

And it has flecks of gold that sparkle as if from an unseen fire.

The carpet comes to rest before you,

And it bows down to you,

As though it knows exactly who you are.

A gesture of reverence,

A quiet invitation.

Please step onto the carpet now and feel how the moment your foot touches it,

A warm vibration rises up from the soles of your feet and spreads throughout your whole entire body.

Peace washing over you like a wave.

Please sit comfortably as the carpet begins to lift now.

And everything below you starts getting smaller and smaller.

Your home,

Your street,

Your town,

All shrinking,

All fading away into the distance now.

And the carpet starts gliding forward with steady ease.

Below you cities give way to fields,

Fields silvered in moonlight,

Stitched together by rivers that wander without hurry.

And then the fields give way to forests,

Vast,

Deep,

Endless,

Trees breathing together in the dark.

And the forests roll into hills,

Rising and falling like the slow inhale and exhale of the earth itself.

And then in the distance,

You see them,

The mountains,

Enormous,

Jagged,

Completely untouched.

A circle of mountains that form a perfect ring.

Ancient guardians that look like they're holding up the whole entire sky.

The presence of these mountains feels both powerful and important.

The carpet slows as it approaches the top of these ancient peaks.

And in the center of these majestic mountains,

You look down and see a magical lake.

Magical because it glows in silver and gold.

It looks as though the moon has poured itself into the center of these huge,

Jagged rocks.

The carpet now lowers you to the shore of the lake and you step off.

The air here is thick with magic.

You can feel it,

The vibration,

The energy.

It feels like every breath you take here is a blessing and a healing.

Please kneel down now and touch the water.

It's not wet.

Instead,

It feels like vibration,

Like liquid light energy.

When you're ready,

Please take a deep breath in,

Gathering up all of your courage and sigh out any fear.

Then please step into the liquid light of the lake.

Feel how its energy wraps around your ankles,

Your calves,

Your knees.

Please go deeper.

Keep going deeper until your whole body is submerged.

And please trust me when I tell you this is a magical lake where you can breathe under the surface.

Under the surface is where real,

Powerful healing awaits you.

So I invite you now to sink down until all of you is submerged and notice how you can still breathe here effortlessly.

The water of moonlight energy holds you effortlessly.

And as you begin to swim now without any effort,

Gliding through this delicious light energy,

Notice how the moonlight filters down in ribbons,

Turning the lake into a cathedral of light.

And then you see them.

You see beings of pure light,

Ethereal,

Shape-shifting beings of light that move between human and creature and star.

Their skin shimmers in silver and gold.

Their eyes hold the vastness of infinite galaxies.

They move with grace,

Trailing currents of light behind them.

These are the wisdom keepers of this magic place that lives within you.

One of them approaches you.

It glides to you.

And it starts to speak to you without words.

You cannot hear its voice,

But you can feel it.

You've come here to let go of what no longer serves you.

You've come here to claim what is rightfully yours.

The being of light then points downwards and on the lake bed you see four objects lying there,

A cracked mask,

A broken hourglass,

A key with no lock and a seed the size of your heart.

The being gestures to them and asks you,

Which will you release and which will you take with you?

Please now reach for the mask.

This cracked mask holds every time that you hid your truth.

Hid your truth to please others.

Hid your truth to earn love.

Hid your truth to fit in.

Hid your truth to be accepted.

If you're ready to let go of all of these masks so you can finally be yourself fully and completely,

Then please let go of the cracked mask now.

Let it fall back down onto the lake bed.

And now please reach for the broken hourglass.

It carries every story you've told yourself about not having enough time.

Every moment you told yourself it was too late.

Every moment you gave up on your dreams ever coming to fruition.

Every time you let time rule over you.

Time is a man-made illusion.

Before humans,

Time did not exist.

You are so much more powerful than time.

So please,

If you're ready,

Let the broken hourglass fall now.

Let go of the illusion that time controls your dreams and destiny.

And now please reach down and pick up the seed that is the size of your heart.

And feel it vibrate in your hand,

Full of possibility and potential.

Please hold it against your chest now.

Against your own beautiful heart.

And feel the truth of who you are becoming right now in this very moment.

Feel the most enormous sense of love,

Fulfillment and dreams coming true flooding into your heart now.

As if you're suddenly remembering that anything and everything is possible.

You are feeling your own self-love,

Self-belief,

Self-trust flooding back into you now.

It's like you're finally remembering that everything you need is inside of you.

The beings of light now circle you.

Gliding around you,

Their movement creates a powerful current that washes anything that doesn't serve you away now.

All the old heaviness,

The old stories,

The old ways of being you.

They all drift away now as these beautiful beings of light circle around you,

Wrapping you in their healing frequency.

And when everything not of your greatest good has been removed,

The beings simply dissolve into the light of the lake.

And everything is completely still.

And that's when you notice the key.

You see the key with no lock lying on the lake bed.

Please pick the key up and notice how it feels so ancient and yet so strangely familiar.

Like it's a key to your true home,

The home you never knew existed.

Please now place this key against your heart and feel how as soon as you do,

A hidden door swings open.

And all of a sudden,

You feel completely at home in yourself.

Like for the very first time in your life,

You fit yourself perfectly.

Every part of you feels aligned,

Like you finally found the key that fit.

You are finally home,

You are finally whole,

And you are finally free.

So now when you're ready,

Please rise back up to the surface of the water.

And notice how when you break the surface of the water,

The night sky immediately greets you.

The stars feel like they're sparkling even brighter,

As if welcoming you back into a whole new world.

The mountains still surround you,

Protecting you and watching over you.

And the carpet waits for you at the shore of the lake.

So please walk to the carpet now and find a velvet blanket there waiting for you.

Wrap yourself in this warm midnight blue velvet blanket.

As you step onto the carpet and sit down,

Ready for the journey home.

Feel the carpet lift once more.

The journey back is quiet.

And you bathe in the energy of feeling whole inside your own skin.

The forests,

The fields,

The streets each come back into view.

Until you're back where you were when you started this journey with me.

The carpet lowers you back to where you began.

But as somebody completely different.

Please step off the carpet now.

And feel yourself stepping back into reality.

Back into your physical body.

Back into the space you're in.

Take a long,

Slow,

Deep breath here.

And as you gently open your eyes,

Please know this.

You have never been lost,

Only waiting to come home to yourself.
