I invite you to find a really comfortable position in bed or lying down.

Take a few moments to get really cozy,

Preparing for this deep rest.

Feel your breath flowing in and out and start to consciously deepen the breath.

No matter how chaotic or overwhelming things feel at times,

The breath can always guide us back to equanimity,

This inner stillness that resides within each and every one.

Feel your bones becoming heavy and the sweet sensation of your body being held.

It's okay to let go of whatever you're ready to release.

Feel this natural rhythm of the breath in and out,

In and out.

This time is a gift that you are giving to yourself,

Your own beloved self.

Sometimes we become so lost,

Focused on the outside world,

What is happening around us,

Or even our own thoughts and emotions that we forget that what we are longing for,

More than anything,
