Riparian zones are the fertile, in-between places where land meets water. We, too, live between worlds ... form and formlessness, knowing and not-knowing. The moment we believe we know for certain what life is or who we are, we close off a deeply fertile way of living. This poem is a reminder that the discomfort of uncertainty is often the most fertile place to exist.
