Confidence is the ability to think clearly and trust one's judgment. It can mean that you are sure of a fact, a hypothesis, or the best course of action. Confidence comes from the Latin word 'fidere', which means "to trust". It is the ability to trust yourself and the way you are. Increasing self-confidence is a process that takes work. It takes daily focus and arranging your life so that you are focused on something that matters. In addition to that, you should know what you want to achieve.

Begin this meditation in a comfortable seated position.

This meditation is designed to help you feel more confident as you go about your day.

Please close your eyes and take a big breath in,

Breathing confidence.

Hold,

Breathe out and release any negative feelings.

I want you to imagine that you have a thread running through your body,

Pulling you up and keeping you tall and straight.

Another big breath in,

Breathing confidence.

Hold,

Breathe out and release any negative feelings.

Now I want you to imagine you are standing in front of a large oval mirror.

You are looking at your own reflection.

In your mind I want you to repeat the following affirmations after me.

I accept myself completely.

I let go of negative emotions and I am filled with positive thoughts about the future.

I am a confident,

Successful person.

I am flexible and open to change and I am in charge of my own life.

I am willing to know myself on all levels.

I let go of negative emotions and I am filled with positive thoughts about the future.

I am the artist of my life.

I am true to myself,

My values and my spirit.

Now take another look into the mirror.

See your true,

Authentic self.

Who you are at your deepest core.

You will go into this day with a positive mind.

Any negativity you come across you will not take personally.

You are strong.

You are confident.

You are in control of your own life.

Open your eyes knowing that confidence is within you.

This feeling of confidence will be with you all day.
