Hi,

This is Simone.

Welcome to this coaching exercise to strengthen your self-belief.

I invite you to sit comfortably in your chair.

Uncross your arms or legs.

Put your feet on the floor.

Rest your hands on your lap.

Then slowly close your eyes.

Let your body relax in the seat.

Pay attention to how your body feels in your seat.

Notice how your back is rested against the backrest.

Notice how your feet are touching the floor.

Is there tension anywhere in your feet?

Are they warm or cold?

Does one foot feel heavier than the other?

Just notice.

Then pay attention to your hands.

Notice how they got that tiny bit heavier as you're relaxing.

Are they warm or cold?

Notice how they feel right now.

And as you do,

Notice how your body becomes heavier.

Just let it be heavy on your seat.

And then focus on the sound of your breath coming in and out of your nose.

It's a subtle sound.

Just pay attention of how your breath sounds coming in and out of your nose.

And as your body is relaxed,

Imagine a bright white ball of light just above your head.

It's the size of a football,

But it's bright white.

And it's made of light.

Imagine or sense this bright white ball of light.

And then imagine or sense this bright white light becoming liquid and pouring into your head.

It's like a sticky syrup that slowly flows down inside your body,

A syrup made up of bright white light.

Imagine that syrup of bright white light slowly flowing down inside your body.

And as it does so,

It takes with it any physical fatigue you might feel in this moment.

The bright white light fills up your head,

Then travels through your throat into your chest area.

Imagine it filling up your chest area,

Your stomach area,

Your hips.

Just imagine or pretend this bright white light travels into your arms all the way up to your fingertips.

And then it travels down your legs,

Into your feet,

And into the earth.

Your whole physical body is filled up from the inside with this bright white light.

Imagine,

Sense,

Or see yourself within that dome of bright white light,

Like the shape of an egg or a candle flame.

Then I want you to imagine that dome of bright white light expands outside your physical body.

Just like the layers of an onion,

There's another layer tightly wrapped around your body.

Imagine or sense the bright white light expanding from your physical body into that layer.

That's your emotional body.

Expand the bright white light outside your physical body and see yourself wrapped in that light.

As you do,

That bright white light can clear away any negative emotions or feelings that have been stored there today.

And now imagine a second layer on top of that first layer.

Expand the bright white light even further out into your mental body,

Where all your thoughts and states of mind are stored.

And not only your own,

But also what other people have said to you or around you.

Imagine the bright white light expanding further away from your physical body into the mental body and clearing away any unhelpful thoughts.

If there is a doubt in your mind right now,

I invite you to let it go.

Be curious and open,

And imagine or pretend it is working.

Imagine or pretend this bright white light expanding from your physical body into your emotional body,

Into your mental body,

And clearing any negative emotions,

Feelings,

And thoughts away with it.

Now imagine the top of your head again,

But this time I invite you to imagine or sense a golden ball of light.

That football is the color of gold.

And again,

The golden ball of light becomes liquid and pours into your head.

Like sticky golden syrup,

It slowly flows down inside your body.

Imagine that syrup of golden light slowly flowing down inside your body.

Notice how this light feels different.

It's warm,

Like a beautiful morning sun.

It's a beautiful morning sunrise in the middle of summertime.

Feel the warmth as the golden light travels down your body and fills it up.

Imagine it collating around your navel area.

Like sunshine rays,

It sends out warm golden light into every area of your physical body.

Maybe your hands feel a tiny bit warmer right now.

Maybe your feet feel warmer.

The golden light has now expanded,

And your whole physical body is wrapped in it.

Notice how your body feels warm and relaxed.

And then this warm golden light expands beyond your physical body into your emotional body,

That first layer wrapped around you.

Imagine it again expanding.

And as it does so,

Invite a positive feeling.

I will suggest a few positive feelings now.

Pick one that resonates with you.

Or if a positive feeling comes to you,

Go with that.

I'm relaxed.

I'm at peace.

I feel thankful.

I appreciate myself.

I feel proud of myself.

I feel energized.

I feel playful.

I feel joy.

Pick one feeling that resonates with you,

Or another one that comes up for you.

And as you imagine and sense that golden light,

Imagine or sense that feeling now.

Your body knows this feeling.

Invite it in.

Take a few breaths,

Imagining or sensing that feeling right now,

Right here in your body.

Now,

Focus on the golden light again.

And as you imagine or sense yourself within that golden warm light,

Let it expand further.

In your mind's eye,

Expand that golden light further into your mental body.

And as it does so,

I invite you to choose a positive belief about yourself.

Again,

I will give you a few examples.

Pick one that resonates.

Or again,

If one pops into your head,

Go with that one.

I'm OK the way I am.

I deserve good things.

I do the best I can.

I can succeed.

I can do this.

I'm capable.

Pick one positive belief that resonates with you.

And as you imagine and sense that golden light,

Invite that positive belief in to be true.

Your body knows that belief.

Invite it in.

Let your body accept it.

Take a few breaths while repeating that belief to yourself.

And notice how your body is at ease with it.

Now,

Slowly,

Come back to your physical body.

Feel the weight of your body on your seat.

Notice your feet and your hands in the physical space.

Take a couple of deliberate breaths.

And when you're ready,

Open your eyes.
