Hello and welcome.
Please be comfortable.
Close your eyes if you'd like to.
Notice how your body feels in this moment.
This might be the first time all day that you've had an opportunity to truly tune in and pay attention.
With each exhale try to relax your body a little bit more.
Perhaps you've had a day of stresses and strains.
Perhaps your day didn't quite go as planned.
However your day has panned out those hours have now passed.
There is nothing you can do differently right now.
There is nothing that can be changed or altered for that exact time frame.
Take a moment to make peace with that knowledge.
Inhale the day has passed.
Exhale I can let go now.
Each day is a fresh start,
A chance to begin again and we can prepare for each coming day the evening before.
When we take a few moments to release everything that has been we are paving the way for everything that still can be.
When we let of each day we create space for each tomorrow.
Know that every choice,
Every decision you made today was the best you felt able to do at that time.
Inhale I am doing my best.
Exhale I let go of the rest.
Notice any lingering tension that's still clinging to your body.
Perhaps in your shoulders,
Maybe your jaw,
Maybe your fists or your feet.
Can you direct your to the area of any tension?
Can you unfurl a little bit more?
Can you meet your body,
Your heart,
Your spirit where they are right now?
At the heart of who we are,
At our very essence,
We are at peace.
But our modern-day lives can sometimes steer us away from that sense of peace.
Taking time to reset and replenish our reserves is an act of kindness,
Of self-care and we can do this each and every evening but we can also do this with each and every breath at any time of day.
We can come back to that place of ease,
That place of peace.
Inhale I come from a place of peace.
Exhale I return to a place of peace.
I invite you to use these simple mantras anytime that you need a reminder of who you are at your core,
Who you can always return to,
Even in the midst of chaos,
Even when the day has been difficult,
Even when,
Even when.
Thank you for joining me for this five-minute meditation.
I hope you have a restful and restorative night.
Sending love from my heart to yours.
