I recently watched a movie,
One of those typical American movies,
All about military threats,
Enemies,
Power,
Fear,
And so on.
And it made me think.
Most people watch stuff like that without realizing how much these stories shape and influence the subconscious.
They're not just stories.
Over time,
They program the mind.
What to fear,
Who to see as the enemy,
And what kind of power seems normal.
Movies are a very strong tool of influence.
They reach you through emotion,
Slipping under your awareness and planting ideas that feel like your own.
In recent years,
Many movies and shows have been built around doom and gloom,
Fear and destruction.
You might think you're being entertained,
But they are literally designed to program you.
It's subtle but consistent,
Unless you are awake enough to see it and realize there's something deeper happening underneath.
And by the way,
This also applies to romantic movies that sell an illusion of love,
The idea we've been programmed with since we were little.
And I'm not saying don't watch movies.
I love a good movie.
And I also distract myself sometimes to get away from it all.
It's not about judgment or guilt.
It's about awareness,
About being conscious and awake.
Everything you take in,
Every ad,
Every reel,
Every video,
Whether it's real or AI-generated,
Influences how you feel and what you believe.
So here's my invitation for you.
Pause in between and simply notice.
What are you feeding your mind with every day?
Who's shaping your thoughts,
Maybe without you even realizing it?
What do you keep choosing to watch and how does it actually make you feel?
And most likely you've been glued to your phone more than you'd like,
Scrolling,
Watching,
Escaping,
Right?
Yeah,
I know.
It's not easy to admit sometimes.
It's an addiction.
We are all addictive to our phones.
I've been there,
Too.
I'm much more mindful about it now,
But it still happens and that's okay.
It's not about being perfect.
It's about being aware and coming back to conscious choice,
Coming back to your power,
To your autonomy.
Your time is valuable.
Your energy is precious.
The world needs more awake people.
Be awake.
Much love.
