Your Heart’s Desire - An Adventure In Manifesting

Welcome.

We're so glad to have you here.

We'll be going on a wonderful journey of discovery and manifesting in a bit.

But before we head out,

Let's spend a little time quieting mind and body.

Settle yourself into a comfortable position and take a few deep cleansing breaths.

Picture yourself standing on the smooth stone steps of a small,

Ancient outdoor amphitheater.

Long ago,

This was a festive gathering spot for a country village,

But nature has since reclaimed much of the space.

You're partway up a sunny hillside,

Looking down upon a stage of willows,

Reedy grass,

And wildflowers.

There are four rows of fieldstone benches between you and the lovely performance area.

As you descend,

You'll become progressively more relaxed.

Step down from the weathered rocks to the next level and take in your surroundings.

A carpet of pink and white wildflowers tilt their faces to the sunshine.

Feel the sun on your upper back warming and softening your neck and shoulders.

Breathe in peace.

Breathe out tension.

Now,

Descend to the third row.

Can you hear the wind rustling through the tall grass?

As it swirls past,

Let it carry away any stress you've been holding onto.

Feel your spirit lighten as the breezes work their magic.

On to your next exhale,

Step down to the second row of carved stone seats.

At this level,

Your body is filled with a sense of ease and comfort.

Your mind is quieting and you are simply resting in the peace of this moment.

And now,

You descend to the front row,

Your mind and body deeply relaxed.

Three weeping willows grace the front of the stage,

Their long feathery limbs swaying in unison like a billowing curtain.

Take a seat in the center of this row.

Although the bench is hewn from ancient boulders,

There is a shallow trough that perfectly cradles your body.

We'll soon be heading into the adventure,

But this profound contentment will remain with you throughout our travels.

And though we'll be taking your soul on a new journey,

You'll remain safe,

Always tethered to your body through your breath.

The swaying curtain of willow branches is mesmerizing.

With intuition as your guide,

Rise from your seat and make your way to the stage.

Parting the draped green limbs,

Leave the sunlit amphitheater and step into a whole other world.

The first thing you notice is that the colors and lines of this place are muted by a thin veil of fog.

As you turn and look behind you,

The three trees are no longer visible and there's just a hint of sunlight filtering through the mist.

The fine droplets suspended in the air create shimmering arcs of color that dance across the landscape.

Look ahead,

Can you see the hills rising in the distance?

There's a worn path in the grass that looks like it heads in that direction.

Follow the path for a bit and breathe in the moist,

Perfumed air of this strange and beautiful countryside.

As you round a gentle bend,

The path comes to a surprising end at the base of a lush green hill covered in wild pansies and buttercups.

But even more surprising is the small wooden door directly in front of you built right into the face of the colorful hill.

A large,

Sleek cat saunters past,

Casting a sideways look in your direction and rubs his lanky body across the weathered slats of a rain barrel.

Just as you start to contemplate the idea of reversing course,

The door creaks open and an unusual looking man steps out.

Dressed in simple muslin trousers and a tunic,

Draped with layers of multicolored scarves,

The gray-bearded man facing you emanates an air of warmth and caring so honest you are immediately put at ease.

There's an aura of soft light surrounding his entire body.

At first glance you think it's the sun filtering through the haze,

But it almost appears as if the man himself is the source of light.

With a warm wrinkled smile,

He lets you know he's been expecting you.

This encounter feels surreal,

The strangest part being that no words have been uttered,

Yet you are communicating with crystal clarity.

It's a language filled with emotional nuances that spoken conversations could never contain.

Waves of acceptance and love pass through you and you suspect that this person has known you over lifetimes.

He beckons you to join him in the wooden chairs set in a nearby clearing and lets you know he already has some understanding of your challenges.

This peasant garbed angel acknowledges that manifesting the things we most desire is some of the hardest work humans endeavor to do.

Knowing that what you share will be understood,

You begin to communicate how difficult it's been to crystallize and attain what feels most important in your life.

Take a little time to let this mysterious soul know exactly what's most prominent in your heart and mind.

With compassion for your struggles,

The old man places his large hand over yours.

And a warm energy courses through your fingers,

Up your arm,

And directly to your heart.

There's an internal shift and you now feel as if you possess a keener understanding of your challenges and some strong hunches regarding which directions might be fruitful.

The aura around your guide seems to have intensified and he asks you to rise and walk with him.

You're headed to another hill just a short distance away,

But there is a different,

Almost electric energy in the air as you approach this rise.

The terrain is rockier and clusters of tall,

Deep green pines rise up,

Obscuring daylight and casting long shadows.

You follow the shaman as he deftly makes his way along a dark,

Narrow trail until you finally reach an opening to a cave.

After a slight hesitation,

You're assured all will be well and you enter the dark space.

Peer ahead and you'll see two small fires burning brightly,

Side by side on the earthen floor.

The cave's interior is softly illuminated and you look to the old man for understanding.

He tells you this ancient cave is enchanted and asks you to bring two personal desires to the forefront of your mind.

Take a bit of time to identify two important dreams in your life,

Things you've been trying to make a reality but have been unable to manifest.

Your guide turns to you and extends both arms with fists loosely closed.

As he opens his left hand,

You see there is a small glass box shining a deep violet in the dancing firelight.

He instructs you to mentally place one of your desires inside this box.

Now he opens his right hand and reveals an almost identical object,

This one colored a deep green.

You focus the energy of your remaining desire into this container and watch as the shaman places each of the crucibles in its own fire.

Sparks begin to fly and the flames burst into a spectrum of color.

It's so bright that you avert your eyes for a moment and take a step backwards.

When you look back,

You see that the two fires are now joined together,

Enclosed in a circle of glittering quartz.

The laws of nature seem to have suspended.

Instead of smoke,

A thrilling and hypnotic alchemy has been unleashed.

Let your spirit join with the soaring flames to create a vibrant new energy for manifesting all that you desire.

Manipulation Meditation Slowly,

The fire quiets.

A damp mist has crept into the cave,

And tiny droplets of water coalesce over the flames,

Gently extinguishing them,

Until only a shimmering dusting of amethyst and emerald remain.

The old mystic takes your hand and leads you back outside.

Nightfall has descended,

And the Milky Way's incandescent band stretches across the black sky.

The intense and mysterious ritual has left you drowsy,

Yet filled with anticipation about your future.

As you begin the homeward trek through towering pines,

Your guide reveals that it is no coincidence you found your way to the cave.

You were drawn here to clarify your desires and ignite your ability to manifest.

Serendipitous support is swirling around,

Always trying to find you,

And like this experience,

It often shows up unbidden,

Just when you need it most.

When you open to a bit of magic by taking a small step forward,

You open to the possibility of manifesting on a grand scale,

Sometimes in ways that can't even be imagined.

Current ambitions and yet to be discovered desires,

They are all waiting to be made real through your vision,

Effort,

And gifts.
