Dear ones.
I'm Janine Tenbrook with Soul Alchemists.
In this practice,
I will guide you in self-love as you sleep.
So go ahead and turn down the lights,
Get comfortable,
Close your eyes,
And we'll begin in just a moment.
You can begin by taking several deep breaths.
Feel your body sinking into your bed.
And as you exhale,
Let go of as much as you can,
As much as your mind and heart and body are ready to release from your day.
Allowing yourself to simply rest in this moment,
To let the day be,
And to give yourself this loving gift of rest and sleep.
Allow your breath to be natural and easy.
And as best you can,
Soften throughout your face,
Your forehead and eyes,
Your jaw and shoulders,
Your belly and hips.
Letting go more and more with every exhalation.
And then imagine as you breathe in that a warm light comes into your being,
Into your body,
And that this light represents and feels like self-love.
So notice what color the light is.
Does it have a texture?
When you breathe out,
You're relaxing,
You're letting go of tension.
And when you breathe in,
This warm light begins to fill you from the bottom up.
So breathing in self-love,
This warm,
Soothing light into your feet,
Relaxing and letting go as you breathe out.
And feeling the warmth,
The light rising up with your in-breaths,
Coming up your legs into your calves and shins and all the way up to your knees.
Your body softening more and more with a sense of safety and love.
Breathing this warm light up into your upper legs,
The thighs,
All the way up to your hips and pelvis,
Continuously relaxing.
Breathing it up into your belly,
It moves along your spine,
Filling every organ in the abdomen.
Ease with each out-breath.
And it rises up to your mid-torso,
Your ribs and lungs,
Filling with this warm energy of love.
And as it rises up into your heart,
Your heart lights up and comes into soft,
Receptive awareness of love.
The light continues to rise and fill your shoulders,
Cascading down your arms,
Reaching all the way to the tips of your fingers.
The light fills your neck,
Your throat,
Your whole spinal cord.
Your brain stem relaxes and your whole head becomes the soft,
Loving,
Warm light,
The brain,
The eyes.
Until every cell in your entire body is breathing in self-love as this warmth and light.
And tension,
Stress,
Thoughts,
Your to-do list can melt away as you exhale.
The breath can be soft and shallow,
Like gentle waves rolling through this warm light.
Just continue to breathe and rest into this loving warmth,
The light of self-love,
Replacing for now anything you don't need in order to fall into a restful,
Restorative sleep.
