You know how in many meditations we are guided to connect with earth and sky?
This meditation expounds on that connection so it can be more fully embodied.
So that however brief the guidance,
The connection itself is profound.
Let's begin.
So let's begin by making small and necessary adjustments in your posture.
Get comfortable.
Making whatever slow and necessary adjustments for your own optimum comfort and stillness.
Begin to be still.
So very still.
Be still and know the constant connection of life to itself in its many and splendid forms.
And calling to mind and heart and soul the many and splendid things that you love about your life.
It can be as simple as the opportunity of breathing deeply in times like these.
It can be long,
Relaxing,
Warm bubble baths.
It can be traveling,
Trying new things with your oldest and dearest friends.
It can be a gentle breeze in the trees or a toddler's uninhibited laughter.
Whatever you love,
Let these images fill your mind.
Let all your senses be stimulated with the memory of things you love,
The taste and smells of it all.
Let the feeling of it all fill your heart and soul.
Just as laughter occasionally fills your belly and strength fills your spine and shoulders.
All these wonderful things are reflections of you.
Allow yourself to open wide to feel your way into being yourself.
In the spaciousness of this opening,
Now imagine this love pure and focused.
It becomes strings of brilliant light extending from your heart.
Like iridescent strands of fiber optic cables,
These strings are living pathways of life essence.
Strings upon strings of brilliant light,
Now extending from your heart and core essence of your being.
And flowing out and downward and rooting into the earth.
With the tensile strength of iron and this malleable and brilliant as pure gold.
Imagine the tips of the strings as your growing edges,
As sharp as needles tips,
Piercing through air and earth as easily as light travels across the vast expanses of space.
And traveling at the speed of thought.
Extending all the way down into the core heart center of the earth.
See,
Sense,
And feel this connection.
Know that the earth itself is also a being of light.
If it helps,
Imagine its name is Gaia.
It too has a heart and soul.
It too absolutely loves life,
Even as evidenced by its aliveness.
It is expressing this love through what we know as nature.
And as our being alive as a part of nature.
Let this love come to life for you in your being.
It is the heart essence of the earth and of life itself.
Now connecting,
Reconnecting,
And forever connected into your heart.
One heart expressing its complete and total love for itself.
One love evolving and expanding.
Allow this established connection of life,
Of love,
Of light,
To be as the earth expressing love for itself,
As you.
To be expressed in your being as you are being alive.
Allow it to be in and through the expression of you and all that you love.
Let this love further express and establishing and strengthening itself unfiltered through and through the expanded heart and soul of your being.
Breathe it in deeply.
Drawing from the heart core of this planet.
Knowing and trusting its existence expands within,
Through,
And surrounding you,
Surrounding earth,
And is forever expanding.
Truly,
There is no separation.
Only strings of light formed in the most intricate and brilliant patterns,
Shapes,
And forms.
As expressed through things like the flowers of life,
Now unfolding and life expanding through their veins and petals.
Unfolding and reflecting your own love and beauty back to you.
Remember too,
That Gaia is also a being within a larger solar system of being.
The larger galaxy of what we know as the Milky Way galaxy.
And the larger expanse of the cosmos within the larger universe of existence.
And let it be known that the heart of the universe is the same essence within these many and beautiful strings of light.
Now expanding from your heart.
From whence the strings come through the earth.
From whence the strings come through the surrounding earth and sky.
From whence the strings come through the solar system,
Moon,
And sun.
From whence the strings come through the heart center of the whole Milky Way galaxy.
From whence the strings exist all around you.
Gaia is heartfelt loving connection from the heart of life itself expressing uninhibited love,
Joy,
Bliss,
And celebration of you.
Expanding into the heart core of you.
True and true,
Through and through.
You have arrived within yourself into the sweet and exquisite certainty of connection.
Like a calf is nourished by the cow's teat,
So too you are eternally poured into.
Enough and plenty for your flourishing and thriving experience of life.
And even as you are a young one being fed,
You are also a father king of the universe.
The mother queen of the cosmos.
And all energy streams arriving,
Flowing,
And expressing as you express.
And so you are a destination of the universe.
And the universe becomes you.
So yes,
Connecting with the heart of the earth is connecting with the heart of the cosmos.
Expressing as all that is.
As it expresses as you.
And all that you are.
And all that you can expand your imagination to include within you and conceive of as being.
The sweet bliss of this connection is at all times available at will.
It is the constant alternating currents of electric life.
That moves through the cosmic waves of time and space.
Moving through you into what you love.
Breathing deeply.
And releasing fully.
Inhaling.
Filling yourself with necessary and available energies.
That power your soul's expansion.
And fully emptying again into the awareness of wholeness.
Inhaling.
Into the greater void.
The empty.
Of undifferentiated creative energies.
Where all and nothing exists.
Be still.
That love is the impetus for creation.
The constant pouring forth of life to itself keeps the universe in motion.
And sustains life in its infinite forms of expression.
It is love that calls those blinking electrons back into shapes and forms of life as we know it.
As this energy fills you now it just as easily expands through you now.
Pouring itself into all that you love.
In this authentic moment consider loving someone even if just a little.
That in the past has been difficult to love.
As they too are a part of how you have shown up in the wholeness of creation.
And are also connected into the greater exchange of life.
Let your highest hope for them be that love would find its own way.
Its own blessed way.
Infinitely growing and evolving as it expresses.
Herein is infinitely enough.
Plenty for all love to flourish.
Breathing in.
From here we are one.
From here the capital I is plural.
From here in this eternal self-reflection we OM.
In this eternal self-reflection I breathe you.
Eternal self-reflection allow the body movement.
Slow intensified movement.
In harmony with life.
Flow with the strings of light.
And life surrounding and through you.
In this eternal self-reflection.
Within the primordial sea of the sound of OM.
I prepare to leave you.
To become you.
Bid you receive each inhale slowly in through the nostrils.
Unrushed.
At its own right pace.
Presently filling you so completely.
With the vibrant spirit of life.

I beseech you to exhale.
Release.
Let it be.
Let it be that we dance in infinite possibility.
And without strain of any kind.
Each audible exhale easily OMs as it will.
Filling the space and environment around you with pure love.
Pure joy.
And the light of life.
In all your becoming be love.
You are destination of the universe.
And the universe becomes you.
