Expectation eliminates enthusiasm.
If we spend our time creating an expectation of what we think an experience will be,
Inevitably,
Once we're actually in the present space,
We spend more time and energy comparing the actual experience to the expectation.
Then we miss out on the experience entirely.
Expectation eliminates enthusiasm.
Any enthusiasm you might have had about going somewhere,
Doing something,
Experiencing,
The expectation is robbing us of the connection we have with the actual experience itself.
We walk into the circumstance with a preconceived notion of what we think it will be.
Then we spend the time in the circumstance comparing what we thought it would be to what it actually is.
Expectation eliminates enthusiasm.
When we spend too much time comparing what we thought it would be to what it actually is,
We miss out on the experience entirely.
So avoid expectation.
Just go into it and enjoy the experience and allow the enthusiasm to be ever-present so that we don't allow expectations to eliminate enthusiasm.
Blessings,
Blessings,
Blessings.
